There was a bit of a wait to get the food (Friday night), but it ended up worth it. The flavors are phenomenal. Avery might be the best waitress we've ever had anywhere. Thank you for the excellent meal!

I had just flown into Provo Airport from Las Vegas on 3/20/26. My sister-in-law and her questionable husband picked me up from the airport. We were all starving. None of us had eaten since lunch! The Shrek lookalike my sister-in-law married had stumbled across BackDoor Burgers on Google Maps. We drove to it immediately. We were greeted by a cheerful and beautiful server named Avery. She and I shared the same name, so I knew this was a fine establishment. The place was very busy and that extended the wait time for our food. From the time we ordered to the time we received our food was 45 minutes. But alas, was it worth the wait? Yes!!! The Poco Bueno Burger and Fries was absolutely divine! Truly the best in all the land! The ogre to my right had the LA Cowboy burger and said that it was “Inspired by God.” While the wait for the food was incredibly long and intense, the prize merited the delay. Let it be known; Avery and BackDoor Burgers are a match made in heaven.

Great burger spot. They have some unique custom burgers that are delicious. The atmosphere is fun. Our server, Sofia, was top notch. She was the cherry on top for the experience. Definitely give this place a try.

Avery is awesome! The food was amazing, first time trying something so different. Had the stoneman and my wife had the Dan Kelly, I kinda wish I got the Dan Kelly haha!

Avery took great care of us at Back Door BRGR — truly top-tier service. Super kind, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.
The modern cowboy vibe right off Provo Main Street is dialed. You walk in and immediately feel it.Food was next level. The maple sweet potato fries with marshmallow were unreal - perfect balance, great texture. Onion rings were spot on too… not too thick, not too thin - just right.
And the Sloppy Joseph burger… sweet, savory, and packed with flavor. Easy 10/10.

Already planning our next visit to try the peanut butter & jelly burger. This place is a gem.

Waited 45 minutes for 2 burgers, which is not that big of a deal whatever we can wait, but we got them only when we followed up with the waitress and once we did, she brought them in 30 seconds, cold and soggy, like for sure they have been ready to be taken out for 20 minutes at least. There was only one other table that did have 10 people so I get that they were a bigger priority but if I am paying $60 for two burgers fries and a drink I expect a better service and experience.

Great food! Great service. Portion sizes big enough for plenty of left overs. Was in and out in under an hour. All around a great place and am definitely coming back.

We loved all of the burgers we had. So creative and delicious. We had the Grumpy Claire, Dan Kelly, Stoneman, and Lucy I'm home. I would order them all again...but my personal favorites were the Dan Kelly and the Lucy I'm home. If you want a creative, tasty burger, this is your place. Also, the large fries were seriously large. Fun environment and good service.

I was SUPER impressed with Backdoor Burger! :) the one waitress we had yesterday was on top of everything! I love the fact the burgers are different, unique and flavorful! Along with those fries my goodness they are my favorite now! The sour cream and onion seasoning on top of them taste SUPER good! I will definitely be back and telling more people about this awesome restaurant!

Your food is absolutely amazing, and is the reason we visited 3 times. However, the last 2 times your a service was absolutely awful. The waitresses are friendly, but they never come back to your table. They don't fill up your water glasses and the food comes to the table cold. That means they're not checking to see if your order's done. We would so like to recommend you so please fix this super easy thing.

We got forgotten twice. We came in around 6:15 and they told us a 30 min wait, no problem. After waiting for an hour and watching many groups leave, I told the hostess it has been an hour and asked how much longer. She looked visibly confused and checked her screen. It became apparent that they had overlooked us. We got to our table and ordered. 10 min later the other hostess came to tell us they were out of all other side options but regular fries. I guess that's fine. In the middle of a busy night. We got our burgers and were told the fries would be right out. The burgers were great, it's been another 20 minutes since we finished our burgers and we still haven't gotten our sides. We got forgotten again. Our waitress hasn't come to check on us at all. It has almost been another hour since we sat down. It's getting ridiculous.

Update: we finally got a hold of someone. A nice lady I can only assume is the owner, we told her the situation and she brought the side right out to us and took it off our tab. That was very well handled by her. She was great, but hopefully she can get some better employees soon

I’ve been here twice and tbh the food is fine but be prepared to wait an hour for your burger…
Also drinks never get refilled

The flavor combinations were unique and worked very well. Unfortunately, many of the options were not available when we were there. The patties themselves were a bit dry and not well-seasoned. The buns were great, but for a burger place, the quality of the patties really matters. They were overcooked both for me and my date.

We waited over 30 minutes for our food. Maybe it was because it was a Friday night, but as I looked around, it seemed like others were waiting just as long. I might try it again at a time other than Friday night, but was disappointed about how long the wait time was for just about all aspects of the service (water refills, ordering, waiting for the bill).

Business lunch on a Thursday. Service was extremely slow. Waited 45 minutes for meals to arrive. Looked like a total of 2 staff working: one host, one server/cook. My burger (the Ironstone) was interesting but almost room temperature when it arrived. In other words, cold. Good fries, good onion rings, very interesting menu. My business partners had hot burgers and really enjoyed the food, but all commented how slow the service was.
