Really great spot. We came in on a Thursday and it was pretty dead though. Food was great and the service was really fast and friendly. We believe our waiters name was Brandon or Braden and he did a great job. They seemed understaffed and unfortunately didn’t have anybody who could service drinks or cocktails, I imagine for legal reason, which was a bit of a bummer because we probably would have spent double what we actually did. It is pretty expensive, but the quality and quantity and overall experience is worth it for special occasions.

Ask how management treats their employees. I wouldn’t touch this place with a ten foot pole just based off that
Delicious food, excellent service... I could say that it should be among the best restaurants in Utah… It has become my #1 in Utah!
I didn't take pictures because I was enjoying every bite.. Next time I'll take pictures..

I've had a very pleasant experience here a few months back but since then I've tried three times to dine here for lunch during their published operating hours and they have been closed each time.

My wife and I went for dinner. We ordered the Duck à l'Orange, Wild Mushroom Pappardelle, Roasted Squash, Pain au Chocolat, and one of the mixed drinks (I forget the name). They started with 2 rolls / mini breads with garlic parsley butter and the butter was delicious. The duck had great flavor with the seasoning on the skin and the orange sauce. It was a little tougher than I would expect, but the flavor was so good I'd order it again. The Pappardelle was less so, my wife thought the flavor was OK but too rich, but nothing special. The surprise was the roasted squash which was awesome. It too had a rich sauce and the flavor was so good. The biggest disappointment was the Pain au Chocolat. It wasn't anything like an actual one in France (we lived there for 7 months and ate a lot of pastries). Instead of a flakey pastry with a ribbon of chocolate within, it was a croissant drenched in melted chocolate. I love chocolate, and it was too much chocolate. The croissant got lost under it all.
The atmosphere was fine, but nothing special. The main complaint was hearing the kitchen noise since it was open, but it didn't detract too much.
The service was also fine. The waiter was friendly, but not that knowledgeable about the food and drinks. He seemed new. Again it didn't really detract, but doesn't deserve extra starts.
We went during the week so parking wasn't an issue.
I liked the duck and squash enough to want to return. My wife expected more from her pappardelle, so I'm not sure I'll be able to convince her. We would both skip the pain au chocolat. I hope they do well enough to stay in business because I think the duck was much better than the food I have had in Utah Valley.

The place is beautiful and our waiter, Nate, was very pleasant. However, it was not a good experience. When we first walked in though we felt ignored as waiters went past without acknowledging us. We just had dessert which was not good. The creme brule didn't crack nicely as it was too thick and the inside was runny. The berry tart had a nice case and the berries were fresh but the creme was completely liquid. Both desserts were nearly impossible to eat due to texture.

Had French Onion soup which fell short of my expectations. Not enough broth. My son had the Eggs Benedict and he was disappointed in the sauce.

We happened upon this GEM on an evening before performing a concert in Provo. And what a find! The food was DELICIOUS -- it took us right back to our recent trip to France! The service was OUTSTANDING! The decor and atmosphere is so CLASSY! We especially appreciated our Server's confident recommendations. We going back every chance we get!

Let me just say...WOW! I was not expecting the taste and service quality in Provo, UT that was delivered by Bistro Provenance. This is a hidden gem of a restaurant right in downtown Provo. Our son asked to go here for a birthday dinner and I was skeptical, I have had french food in France and was not that impressed but this place was fantastic! Speed of service was exceptional (not a busy night) the server was very kind and attentive. But better than that , the food was top notch. I dont know where the chef came from but he served a very tasty meal. I had Duck a l'orange (spelling?) for the first time and I am glad I had it here...really good. I also tasted the trout dish, very good and the braised beef, also exceptional. Creme Brûlée is to die for, nice think carmelized sugar layer on top. It is not your every day dining price but totally worth the splurge. We will be back and recommend to others. Thanks Bistro Provenance!!, Great memory!

The food is just amazing. The filet mignon was perfect and the potatoes are Heavenly. The creme brulee was very good in flavor, but was not set enough. The service was meh. Not the greatest to be honest. The server was inattentive and when boxing up leftovers, they definitely did not box all of the food, so I reccomend requesting to box your own.
