The Navajo Taco, with the green chili pork was superb—fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The fry bread was perfectly light and crisp, and it really elevated the dish. Service was attentive and friendly, making the experience wonderful!

Great location and ambience. I’ve been a few times and tried multiple things on the menu. It’s good, but not great on the flavor and taste. Had the Hog Jowl nachos. Needed more Hog Jowl and actually needed more salt. No salt at the tables.

I love the food here! I always get the Navajo Tacos with the green chili pork- yum! We got the Honey Lavender Navajo Bread as an appetizer, and it was tasty, although the lavender bits were a little intense flavor-wise if you get a lot in one bite. The bread is delicious and will melt in your mouth 🤤 Call ahead to reserve a table since it can be packed on busy days and nights.

This was an excellent find for us. We had the enchiladas and the fried chicken which were both fresh and tasty. The honey lavender fried bread was exceptional. Totally recommend the restaurant.

This is probably a nice place to take a date, but the premium prices did not reflect a premium quality or quantity of food in my opinion, especially in comparison to some of the other restaurants in downtown Provo.

The lack of AC in the building made the dining experience a bit uncomfortable, and the food wasn’t exceptionally exciting for me. The menu promises a lot of very interesting options, but the actual flavors felt a bit bland. The Navajo taco, which is one of their specialties, was quite doughy and left me feeling both hungry and disappointed.

This was our first time visiting and it was very good! Food was excellent and cooked near perfectly. Unique dishes and flavors not offered at many other restaurants. Prices are a bit high for the portions served but not outrageous. Only one little thing not really related to the food: Menus were kind of beat up (frayed, stained, and ripped) for a place that is trying to be upscale. Wouldn't cost much to reprint, laminate, and bind or whatever to improve. Otherwise, all fantastic!

Such great service, they always make great recommendations. And the mushroom burger is literally an enormous mushroom top, which is heaven for me. Great salads. Whenever I'm in Provo for a conference or something, Black Sheep is one of my stops.

Good place for lunch. Courteous & friendly staff. Lunch options were good. We had the traditional Navajo taco & chile verde Navajo taco. Both tasty.
