Our experience with BYU Food to Go was an absolute nightmare. From start to finish, the process was riddled with miscommunication and unprofessionalism.
First, we were told we could pay with a check, but when we arrived, they refused to accept it until they got the manager involved. Eventually, they took the check, but not without unnecessary hassle. When we asked the manager to add the delivery charge to our order, they agreed. However, on the day of delivery, we were informed that we had to pick up the food because they had no record of us paying for delivery.
Every single person we spoke to seemed completely untrained and clueless about their own processes. To make matters worse, they sent an invoice to our company with no tax added. When we asked them to fix it and send a revised invoice, they said they would—but never did.
To top it all off, they informed us that they only provide the food cold, meaning we had to warm it up ourselves. We had to call them over 10 times, and each time, we received incorrect or inconsistent responses.
This company is a disaster. They can’t get the simplest tasks right and have zero accountability. We will never use BYU Food to Go again, and we wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

We ordered some dessert bars for our wedding and would recommend. First of all the price is great compared to other caterers. We told them what we were interested in and they gave us a to-go tray of little samples. The raspberry bars were SO good, and we liked the lemon bars too. The blondies were really good but they come with pecans which we both don’t like so we didn’t choose them, but if you don’t mind pecans then they’re a great option. We also ordered brownies which I never tasted but they were gone first. We ordered everything cut into the smallest pieces because they’re so filling so no need for big pieces. We tried some cookies but they were super average so we stuck with just bars. Trina was great to work with through the whole process and very responsive.

I came 10 minutes after the designated pick up time. They said it would be about 5 minutes for my order to be ready. I have now been sitting in my car - in the middle of June - with the AC going for OVER AN HOUR. This order was placed weeks ago. Supervisor offered 25% off. Are you serious?? 0 stars

Such a great resource! We use BYU food to go for school functions, church activities, and family get together. The prices are unbeatable and it’s so easy to order and pick up! The mint brownies are always our fave!

We've placed a few different orders for corporate events and we haven't had a bad experience so far! All the food has been yummy, the staff has been so friendly and accommodating. Nothing but good things to say about them!

I ordered 350 brownies for a youth fireside. I pulled up, they loaded my car and I was on my way. The service was super fast, and the brownies were so yummy. It was very affordable and a good deal for that many brownies.

Great for RS activities and desserts, but I wouldn't recommend for big events like weddings, or any actual meals. There were a lot of confused students working on the phones, and communication was difficult. There should also be a system implemented that prevents multiple people (like family) from being able to call in and change your order. Again, good for desserts and less important events!
