I watched them count out 5 tiny strawberries slices for my salad—she even took out a strawberry slice from the serving spoon before putting it on my salad. Zupa’s has gone downhill

We just celebrated our son’s and daughter in law’s wedding and Zuppa’s catered our luncheon.

They went above and beyond while we were ordering at the store. It has to be done with the App, but they sat down with us and guided us. Any exception we needed they took note of and made it happen. They delivered right on time.

The soups were warm and everything was delicious! We were glad we ordered the chocolate covered strawberries and the infused drinks. It was just perfect.

As soon as the ceremony ended we brought out the salads, sandwiches, chips, soups and strawberries. Everything was labeled. So, it was easy to refill. Their suggestions were spot on.

And we just got a call today from Alisa. She was following up on us knowing how to use our rewards points.

Incredible service! I highly recommend them.

Love Zupas. This location has an issue. The staff. I live close and have experienced an issue a couple times now. Decided it’s time to say something.

I order through the app for pickup, the app tells me time to pick up the order and it’s not even close. Not a couple minutes off. Like 20 minutes off. They cannot seem to get the food ready even close to when it says. So I waited, which I’ve done a few times now, but why have an app tell you when it’s going to ready if it’s always off? It either can’t predict the orders ahead of you or the staff are not very efficient.

I would understand if they were slammed, but inside the restaurant while I’m waiting, they have literally no one in line. 8-10 staff working behind the counter But not on the food I and others have ordered for pickup. They are all chatting with each other. Joking around.

I approach and ask the status and these two young girls working the register, not making food, are really not friendly or helpful. Snotty. “Sorry, we don’t make the app.” I said I know you don’t make the app, but I just want to know why it says come at this time and it’s not even close? I don’t run your business either, you do. They laughed and then kind of mocked me. Issue can happen, but how you handle them says a lot. And it’s a pattern.

I don’t care if the food takes what it takes, but why have me come to restaurant to wait? I would have dined in if I wanted to hang out.

They both did not care about the issue The staff are not customer service oriented. A little rude and it’s happened several times. But they still want a tip at the register…. smh

Starting to choose food elsewhere through my repeated experience.

Just know if you order online at this location, and have a pickup issue. The teenagers working there aren’t there to hear it or help. It’s not their problem they don’t make the app.

I have figured out to make their Hot Honey Chicken bowl at home. Maybe they can.figure out another line of work. All you have in the food industry is my experience. And this is becoming a bad one.

I can count on one hand how many times I’ve ever returned food. Meaning twice ever in 50 yrs.

I ordered a Caesar salad at this location and it just wasn’t good. I felt bad returning the entire full bowl and apologetic to the manager who I learned really quickly she lacked any basic customer service skills like listening, repeating back what you heard, empathy and understanding, offering to make it right. When I approached her and explained the problem, her response was “I can’t take that back. You’ll need to leave it over there”, pointing 20 ft away to a clean up area.

Sure sure. No problem Abby. Can I please get a refund? What was wrong with it?
It’s not good and I cannot eat it. Can you please refund this?

It’s $9 and really not that deep. Abby actually charged my card a 2nd time for the total minus the salad but never gave me a receipt of the original refund. I think I just paid double for really bad food.

I’m going to make sure and spend all my future money at Aubergine down the street where the people and food leave a good taste for days to come. Adios zupas.

If you have a pickup order , give them about 20 extra minutes. Waited for a very long time and it would have been faster to simply get in line. I think the worse part is that they sent the text saying the order was ready probably to make the time look good on their end, indeed didn’t get my food until 10 + mins later. They should probably adjust their online order times if they cannot have orders ready at the time.

They ran out of hot honey while making my hot honey bowl and proceeded to just use regular honey without asking me and when I asked them about it Lyla(white girl with blonde hair) I think that’s her name proceeded to talk rude about me to another employee in front of my face rather than apologizing for not giving me what I ordered. She also did the same thing to the lady behind me in line, and was rude to every customer. Terrible customer service, I will not be coming here again while she has a job and is paid to treat people like that.
Food was also awful I ended paying for food that was not at all what I ordered and was terrible quality since Lyla was too focused on being mean rather than making quality food.
Shoutout to Kate for being extremely kind and apologizing for Lyla and her behavior.
