Server kept walking by us, completely ignoring us, she went to all the Latino tables, and pre bussed them but looked at our dirty plates on the table and walked passed, She even gave me a dirty look. we are just 2 old white people. Had to look in the back and ask someone for salad mix. Another server came when we were done and asked if she could bring us anything, we were leaving and this point. I left her a tip for asking and cleaning a few plates. But the Latino Girl made me feel like she was a racist. That is so sad because we are all the same! Don’t think I will be back!

#ChuckARamaBuffet is a mainstay in Utah buffet lore. They proclaim their “Home cooked” style, and I find it comforting. They serve lunch and for a little more dinner, which includes more options. They have fresh baked goods, and a great salad bar that has many different salad dressings to explore and enjoy. I love the Lemon Chiffon Jello, and the fresh fruit. They usually have a couple good soups including a great #TomatoBasil soup. I enjoy the fried and roasted chicken. For dinner the carving station is great it includes Turkey, Ham, and Roast beef with a nice Jus and horseradish sauce. I often crave Canadian #Poutine so I make my own using the fresh French Fries and luscious brown gravy with cheese from the salad bar. Special nights bring out special food themes including Mexican Thursday which allows me to make #Tacos and #nachos to my hearts content and On Saturday it’s Italian focused which includes Lasagna, Spaghetti and Meatballs. The Desserts are wide ranging and often includes a decent #Carrotcake , German Chocolate cake, bread pudding and soft serve Ice cream. They have a fantastic open drink bar that includes many different Soft drinks, #Horchata , icee, and coffee. The drinks are included in the buffet price. Overall Chuck-A-Rama is a great place to bring a group, a family or even by yourself if you want to mix and match foods and enjoy a lot of it for an inexpensive buffet price that includes the drinks!

Our waitress was amazing, offered to get our drinks and always checking to see if we needed anything. The food was OK, the same old stuff as usual. Not much of a variety for a buffet but the drinks are included so can't complain too much.

If you've been to this place, you know what you're getting. It's not anything fancy, but if you want an easy gathering place for a family, or you really miss the school cafeteria, it's exactly what you're looking for.
The service and ambiance are decent, and the food is usually fresh—until it isn’t. When the roast beef comes out dry as a bone, fix it. That’s your core offering. Either serve it properly or warn customers ahead of time so they can spend their money elsewhere. It’s happening far too often.

The food was decent and the staff were kind but I got some nasty food poisoning a few days after 😬 I don’t know exactly what went wrong but my guess is the food was out for too long.

PROS- Service was outstanding. Restaurant was clean and spacious. The salad bar, for me, is the main reason for the 5 star rating. Desserts were really good. Fair prices.
CONS- Overall, most of the food was good. But some of the items just didn’t taste fresh.
