These are delicious donuts, but I wouldn’t call them malasadas. My point of reference is Leonards in Hawaii and they set the standard for me. I would definitely visit again if I’m in the mood for a donut.
I tried these at Daybreak food trucks event last fall and they are amazing. How do I locate where you are so I can buy more? Thanks
I’d like to give you a visual of what happened to my very atomic makeup when I had a donut here.My acne vanished, my hair became perfectly curled, I got a 4.0 GPA, I was accepted into Harvard, an angel’s chorus sang around me, and all was right with the world for those maybe 3 minutes of donut-eating.Seriously, no donut will ever surpass the true glory of these. 100/10.
Great doughnuts! My wife and I were lucky enough to get a raspberry and custard filled (in the same doughnut). That was it favorite. Our second favorite was the dulce de leche filled doughnut.
Do angels make these wonderful light treats?
Me & hubby tried them at the food truck park in PG..their ok. Kinda pricey for just fried dough..probably won't buy them again .
Best donuts/ Malasadas I have had in my life. The dough is pillowy soft and light and I love their cream filling. Better than any Malasadas I’ve tried in Hawaii.
We've been to Hawaii a few times and these malasadas always let us reminisce on those great times and bring back wonderful memories, so thank you for being our one source of malasadas in the Valley. If I could share a bit of constructive criticism :)! I've noticed that the raspberry, mango, dulce de leche, and guava malasadas tend to have a little too much filling, but the custard and coconut cream ones don't have enough.(And while I personally grew up enjoying stuff w/dulce de leche and guava in LatAm, for instance, I don't particularly like to have too much of either, so I think those four types of donuts may be better off w/o the extra tbsp or so of filling that oozes out [+ what I have to scrape off so I'm not just chewing on jelly] as they're too sweet.)All in all, we look forward to continuing to patronize Clark's!
Got one of each flavor and loved them all! The people working were so kind and I will definitely go again!!
The malasadas were better than the ones we got on the big island last month. Excellent !!

Everything! The haupia pie is very authentic ?
We bought 4 last night at Sandy Amphitheater. Theses are incredible donuts. We're in love!
Straight from heaven. Literally I’m not even a doughnut dessert person, but these were amazing. So soft and the filling ratio is just right. I got both the custard and coconut cream, and loved both. Next time I’ll definitely try the mango or guava.
Beyond incredible service! We had to wait a bit for our order so they threw two extra in. The plain was my favorite. We also got custard and coconut. I'm not a huge filled donut person so it wasn't surprising that I liked the plain one. Not very sweet, a perfect amount. I put four stars because I thought they were too expensive for a donut. Good, but definitely not the best I've had.
They make me so happy when I eat them.
