Not on time
Not enough food
Offered great compensation that we agreed on and in the end never got

Catered an order for 100 people. Pick up was supposed to be at 6:15, we did pay over $1,000 to have it ready on time, but it was a super busy night and wasn’t ready until 6:30 which made complete sense, not even mad, it happens. They explained where everything was, how to use the heaters it came with, had everything we needed, and it out to our car for us. Got to our party 5 minutes late, and realized after unpacking there was no way this was feeding 100 people and called them - turns out there was a whole tray of meat missing that was still sitting in the restaurant kitchen. We go back and pick it up now 45 minutes late for the party that has since started and they’re super nice and give us a discount and about 20 free entre vouchers and we agreed that was good. Said they’ll call us on Monday to put the refund through. Never got the call, and discovered half of the vouchers expired in less than a month, half could only be accepted at 1-3 locations NONE of them the location we ordered from, and 1 literally expired 9 months earlier. 1 expired at the end of the following year which seemed far more reasonable. We came back in to both address the refund and see if we could get vouchers we could reasonably use and give. They fixed the refund immediately. They looked at the vouchers, admitted some of them were fake, and then started printing out more that would expire in 6 months. Seemed reasonable. I was handed 15 $10 vouchers that can’t be used with any other voucher and pointed out that there’s no way that’s equivalent to 20 free entrees like we were given?! Manager said nothing, disappeared and had another employee hand me 6 more $5 vouchers that also can’t be used together.
So I left pretty darn pissed.

Never, ever doing that again.

Worst Coda Vida experience I have ever had. The queso tasted just like melted Velveeta cheese, and two of the five of our group ended up with food poisoning after our visit.
Usually, huge fan of Costa Vida. But this might have broken me for it.

Great people, amazing food, and they are very patient and professional when accommodating for my gluten allergy.

Two and a half stars. Smaller portions than the other restaurant chain that does the exact same thing. Waited a long time to place our order even though the line wasn’t very long.

Love Costa, will never go to this location again. Was asked 5 separate times what I ordered by 3 different workers. Long wait time which was fine, but my quesadilla was not cut and was empty.

This location super skimps on meat Every time.

Last time they put half a scoop of meat and I asked if that was a real full serving. They said a full serving is 6oz, and I insisted that what they gave me wasn’t 6oz. They took the meat out to weight it.. lo and behold… 3.8oz…

Today I gave them another shot, ordered double meat, (should be 12oz, right? I barely got 5oz, not even a real single serving.

Just know if you’re going here, you’re not getting what you pay for.

We placed a mobile order and had to wait 30 minutes past when it was supposed to be ready. I watched the staff get through the line of walk in customers 3 times over while they ignored the 10+ customers standing by the mobile order pick up. By the time I got my nachos, they were cold and soggy.

I’m a big costa vida guy, and I am consistently disappointed by this costa vida.

Service is so freaking slow. There were only three people in front of me and I waited for 30 minutes. They didn’t even have a shortage of employees, they’re just wandering around. Super disappointing. It’s like they’re avoiding interacting with customers.

Also the food portions are atrocious. Very disappointing costa. You make it hard to defend you against cafe Rio people. I’m getting tired of defending you with your poor service.

All of the tables were covered in crumbs. Doesn’t look like they’ve wiped any table all day.

Get your act together Provo costa.

Costa Vida Provo is a good date destination. There is a bowling alley attached to the back end, so dinner or lunch and an activity to enjoy with groups. Food is affordable and fresh✅, service is fast and friendly.✅ Would go again!

Long wait for pick up and was never acknowledged by staff when I walked in and waited for about 10 minutes for a staff member to even ask who I’m picking up for.
