I ordered the Bigoton combo. The asada and pastor were good, but it's not enough to fill you up. You have to utilize the salsa bar once you get your food. The food was fresh, but I prefer tacos from competitors.
There's not a lot of seating available, so if you show up on a Saturday night, you may be waiting for a table to open up. It's a cool spot with decent food. I would come back to try the asada fries or lengua burrito.

Super delicious. Unfortunately, the price has gone up a lot. Also, sanitation concerns me a bit. 😬

Don’t order online. The price and photos make it seem like you’re getting two tacos, but it actually is $4 per taco online, whereas it’s only $1.75 in person.

Sadly the lowest star is 1.
We had such a busy Christmas week - all we wanted was food. We had no other food at home and were just too exhausted. We ordered tacos from here. As my husband took his first bite - he bit into a tooth. No, not his. It was absolutely disgusting, unexpected and so dangerous. I called the restaurant and the lady that answered said it happened because they work with animals. Almost trying to make it sound normal. Needless to say this is the last time we get anything from there.

I ordered some roast fries and it didn't bring anything it said it did, it didn't bring tomato, or cheese, the potatoes without salt, terrible service and terrible product.
Pls make sure to pay all of your stuff members even if they are no longer working with you

It used to be 5 stars for me but now they are cutting corners to save money and it no longer is worth it for me. My family and I went to Don Joaquin at least once a week and would drive 30 minutes just to eat their tacos. The price was right and the tacos were delicious. Two changes that have personally turned me off is that they no longer offer radish as a toping that used to add a crunch and bite to the tacos and the second one is they used to offer green grilled onions but now they replaced them with chopped stir fried white onions with some sketchy sauce. The tacos are alright now for me. I would rather make them at home. Too bad. It was one of three restaurants our family loved. I really hope they go back to how they used to be.

Overrated tacos. They were dry and cheaply made.

Got the strawberry agua fresca and it was milky and tasted like strawberry nesquik. Nothing water or fresh about it. And on their website it says no syrup and fresh fruit. Some bs. No fruit whatsoever.
