Maybe it’s my bad for ordering a cinnamon roll at a bagel place, but what the heck happened here?? It’s like they baked it in a volcano. The roll was rock hard and crumbled apart when I touched it, and the frosting was melted solid. It smelled like burning plastic and sugar. I can’t comment on how it tasted; I gave it to the garbage after documenting this cinnamon roll crime. I give 2 stars because the bagels are generally fine. There are lots of flavors to choose from, so at they have that going for them.

Service was excellent this day! The young lady at the register welcomed me as I stepped into the building. We are regulars at Einstein and our kids love them a lot.
My only complaint this last visit was that some of the whole wheat bagels (in particular) were much, much smaller than normal. It bothers me. When you pay a substantial amount of money for good bagels, I don’t think it’s expecting too much that they be full, regular size—otherwise, as a customer, you really do feel ripped off.

I ordered 3 sandwiches on doordash. The Texas brisket, the santa fe, and the sunrise chorizo. they were out of brisket so the doordash reached out and we switched it to another Santa fe. Neither snta fe got the salsa that goes on it. And the chorizo sunrise had NO CHORIZO. I tried to call the store to get the chorizo remade, I wasnt even going to make a fuss about the salsa. I called 4 times. No one answered. If you like 1 star food and 1 star service, this is definitely the place for you. Prices were outrageous for what we ended up with.
Edit: I reached out to guest services on the website using the link provided by the comment from Einstein Bros on This review. I explained the situation and a week later I got an email back telling me that they cannot refund me because it was a doordash order.
I have managed multiple restaurants. It is in fact possible to refund doordash orders, lazy workers use that as an excuse because it's a slightly harder proccess. But even if they couldnt get it to work for some reason, they wouldn't offer me in store credit or to remake my food, or anything. It doesn't matter if it's a doordash order. Door dash didn't Completly screw up my meal. Einstein bros did. And they refuse to fix it.
I tried to respond to the email but they sent me an automated response saying I'd have to use the link again and file a brand new complaint, but I couldn't because I no longer have my receipt after filling it out the first time.
If I could leave a negative star I would. this is the third time we have used them to cater a large business breakfast. The first time they were late. (We ignored that.) The second time they were 45 minutes late. This time I ordered my catering order to be picked up between 8:45 and 9:00 am. I arrived at 9:00 and was told it would be 5-10 minutes. At 9:40 they said it was not even 1/2 complete. The few completed bagels sat in a box on the counter and were now cold. They offered to let me take those. How do I take 12 bagels to 50 people and choose who receive them. I asked for a refund and was told to write in for the request. The location has terrible service, dirty floors and is slower than molasses. NEVER use them for catering. I would hesitate using them at all for any order since it is dirty and un kept in the store. We made a huge mistake giving them another chance. Terrible service is not even the correct wording to describe our experience. Needless to say that we ordered lunch for our staff from a different establishment who I will give rave reviews about for last minute fulfillment.

The food tastes fine, but is costly and they skimp on the shmear compared to other places I've been. One of the people I've had at the register is super unhelpful and doesn't try to be friendly.

A nice atmosphere and nice workers. Unfortunately I think the individual preparing my order was new and didn’t include smear and my bagel sandwiches. Perhaps they don’t come with any and I misunderstood the menu. I waited 30 minutes for 3 sandwiches and 4 chocolate muffins. I think due to a lack of supply of muffins as one was substituted with a cookie. I DONT recommend the chocolate muffins. When they have the blueberry muffins they are very moist and delicious. The chocolate muffins were dry. Made me think of bran muffins. I’ve had other bagel sandwiches at this establishment and all were delicious. They were just not correct this time. Again I think a new worker was getting a grasp on things and expect them to be back to their usual standards soon.
