Came into happy sumo this weekend and the service and food was great. Sadie and Elle took great care of us throughout the night and were very polite and accommodating. Overall a great dining experience and we will be stopping in again!

Because of our server Ian and the taste of the sushi I want to give a 5 Star review, but besides our service this most recent visit, this place under new management is going downhill fast!!! Last time we ate here we had an issue with our food and the manager was extremely rude and unprofessional to our server then and how she handled the situation. We decided to come back and this time we had the best server we’ve EVER HAD! He mentioned leaving a review on Google and we thought we’d also leave a personal message with the manager. When we told her how great he was she stared at us and rolled her eyes, then turned away. Another thing confusing to us is surely there is a dress code. The employees all are wearing all black and then the manager is in blue jeans??? Maybe we’ll try takeout, the marz and sunset sushi rolls really are delicious. It’s just difficult getting over new management and her sense of entitlement :-(

From the moment we walked in, the manager and staff at Happy Sumo were fantastic. Everyone was so helpful, kind, and welcoming. Outstanding customer service—I can’t wait to come back!
Rude waitstaff, dirty looking restaurant, gross and poorly cooked food, multiple very dirty dishes with old food stuck to them, then the waiter was rude when we asked, so politely, for new ones. I will never eat here again.
