K’s Kitchen Reviews
Delicious authentic Japanese food!! I’m an hour and a half away, but it is totally worth the drive!
There is nothing better than donburi. K’s is the cheapest way to travel to Japan and have a nice meal made by real Japanese people. Don’t have enough time to fly to Tokyo? Go to K’s. Don’t have a Japanese mom? Go to K’s.
We’re been going to K’s since it opened and love the food. Having eaten Japanese food in restaurants across the US, this is the best Domburi we’ve found. Good people, good food and reasonable prices.

K's Kitchen offers an authentic Japanese dining experience in Provo. The friendly staff strive to create a little bit of Japan right in the heart of the city. Customers can enjoy a free cooling drink called "mogie cha," a barley tea that is an acquired taste but a perfect opportunity to sample a popular Japanese beverage. The restaurant is praised for its consistent food quality, with many dishes earning high marks from loyal customers who have been coming for years. The atmosphere is fun, with Japanese TV playing and a welcoming environment that makes dining in more appealing than just take-out.
Popular menu items include the onigiri rice ball sandwiches, K's curry, and the katsu, which is considered some of the best around. The teriyaki chicken bowl was tasty, and the Poke bowl and fried pork are both high quality. The gyoza is also amazing. Customers appreciate the vegetarian options, such as the vegetarian bowl, and the restaurant is known for accommodating various dietary needs. The Sappari chicken is flavorful and crispy, and the pork Katsu curry is very tasty. The Yakiniku is a favorite for many, and the portions are generally satisfying, though some feel the portion sizes can be small for the price. Parking is easily available on the street, and there are outdoor seating options. The restaurant's hours are similar to European restaurants, closing for lunch, and there is also a menu suitable for children. Don't let the bland exterior of this restaurant deceive you.
