Great appetizers, scallops and beef tasteful and cook perfectly, however risotto overcooked and potatoes undercooked. Desserts were nothing special.

La Jolla Groves did not disappoint. Great food, romantic atmosphere. Overall great experience.

Beautiful restaurant. It was quiet and relaxed. Nice decor. Good parking. Clean restrooms. Reservation sat on time. But our waitress said maybe 10 words to us the whole time we were there. It felt like we were being served by someone who doesn't like people but needs a job. She wasn't rude but was pretty uninterested. Salads were good but the vinaigrette wasn't labeled on the menu so I was served mango vinaigrette, which I am allergic to. Thankfully I noticed before dumping it on my salad. Our main took 45 mins to come out. My husband's $75 steak was gray and over cooked when he asked for medium. The food took so long to come out that we didn't have time to send the steak back for replacement. My risotto was good, I'll give them that. We went for my husband's 40th birthday and that was a major let down. On top of paying for a baby sitter, we have a $130 bill for food that was less than great and an overcooked filet. I've had better service at red lobster which is unfortunate because I was so excited to eat here. The table next to us had a great server and I'm jealous we didn't get to experience that for the cost we paid.

Such an adorable restaurant, definitely unlike anything I've been to before. Dining underneath the lemon trees felt so tranquil and serene, making the whole experience extra special. Our server was wonderfully attentive, and everything we ordered tasted incredibly fresh. We started with a mocktail that was absolutely refreshing, then enjoyed a crisp salad, perfectly cooked halibut, and ended the evening with a rich and delicious cheesecake. Each course was excellent. One unique detail worth noting: you can reserve a private dome for an additional fee, which makes for such a thoughtful touch if you're celebrating a special occasion. Overall, a truly memorable dining experience that I would absolutely recommend.

I started taking a kid going to BYU here several years ago as a treat. Now my youngest just started at BYU so we went again last night. It was so good. Everyone loved the food and experience.

Treated ourselves to the $75 Wagyu filet mignon steaks and was pretty disappointed. Just average tasting. For half that price I would have been more satisfied. No good toppings or sauces offered and very limited potato options. They did not bring husband's fries plain as ordered or cook my steak how I asked for it. Plus the meal took over two hours; the wait was very long. The appetizers were excellent; we tried the pretzel with cheese sauce and the bruschetta.

Excellent service, a very short wait for our delicious food. It was perfect for our anniversary dinner. The tenderloin medallions were mouth-watering and delectable. The frozen lemonade added to the spectacular meal. We would highly recommend La Jolla Groves.

The service was very good. The food was ok. The main dish for us was not that great. Cute place.

Went on a date for a special night out, had heard recommendations and was not disappointed! Food was excellent, especially the lemon cake for dessert (my girlfriend's favorite part of the date), atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and overall an excellent date night restaurant! Will definitely want to go again!

We had a birthday dinner here - it was a very disappointing night. We had a reservation and were quickly seated but that was the best part of our experience. We waited over an hour before our appetizers arrived and when we ordered drinks 5 of 7 arrived but we had to ask three times before the other two were delivered. The chicken and steak were good, but the pasta dishes were served lukewarm and overcooked and the carbonara was more like a stroganoff with a strange cream sauce. This is probably a great place for a party of 2, but not a place for a small group.

We got seated at 6:20pm right when we got there and placed our order around 6:45pm and our dinner wasn't served until almost an hour later. The server did tell us that kitchen is backed up due to a large party but she informed us after waiting almost 40 min after we ordered. They only had ~6 tables in the main dining room. And it took 2-3 reminders to get our hot water and the bread service. The restaurant is really pretty and the bruschetta and scallop dishes were yummy. Just so disappointed with the long wait and then no offering of sincere apology and offering something, anything to make it feel better. So dense. Not a great experience.

I organized an important business dinner here and I called them the day of our reservation to add an additional person. They were super accommodating, helpful, and said they would do their best to make my group as comfortable as possible. My CEO just texted to say the service was phenomenal and the private room with Mountain views was the cherry on top. Thanks!

We were seated relatively quickly. We had a reservation so that didn't impress me too much. But it was nice. The waitress arrived and served us some water. 30 mins later she came back to finally take our order. It seemed like maybe she had forgetten we were there. But not to worry. She took our order and we figured she would remember after that. Boy were we worng. We waited for over 90 minutes before the food arrived. It was fine. Not especially impressive. But good. The waitress apparently realized that being seated at 7:15 and not. being served until 9:30 might be too long a wait. So as a kindness she gave us a coupon for a buy one get one free appetizer when we come back. I don't think I'll ever be using that coupon. We waited long enough to raise our own cow. Butcher it. Age it. And make our own steaks at home.

As repeat customers we were again very pleased to introduce friends to La Jolla Groves. We were not disappointed to have a lovely, un-rushed, attentive and quality lunch. As former San Franciscan's we are pleased Orem-ites who have a quality place to dine with family and friends. This is actually the second time in a week that we have selected La Jolla Groves to entertain different family members. The variety of selections, the multi-course features the attentive wait team, and the quiet and inviting atmosphere encourages our choosing here, rather than cook at home for our guests. We could be more attentive to the conversations.
