The food here was fantastic, I'm not sure what all the fuss is about in these reviews. I purchased the tomato basil soup along with a panini. The price was completely reasonable and the food was fantastically fresh. I appreciate the BYU MOA Cafe staff for their kindness, and attentiveness, even despite me ordering near the close of the cafe.

Overall, if you're looking for a great bite in-between enjoying the world-class art, stop here. You won't regret it.

Removing the brisket Mac n cheese from the menu was the beginning of the end. The pasta I got today was a small portion lacking any meat or protein, the noodles were undercooked and all bunched up in a big ball. It tasted good when there were tomatoes in it but it was like two cherry tomatoes cut in half for the whole dish. And it’s more expensive than it used to be. They used to give bread that was really tasty with their meals but not anymore. It pains me to say that this place has seen better days. A few years ago it was a fantastic place to get some good food that was good value and tasted great. Now the portions are smaller, the food is more expensive and isn’t made as well. The menu is much more limited now too, you’d think with less things to make it would be made better but unfortunately no. The atmosphere is great but the rest is a shadow of what it once was. Not worth the money anymore.

I’ve tried to go a few times during posted hours and every time it’s been closed or had an hour long line

As far as college campus food goes, this may as well be fine dining. The pesto pasta, the pleasant drinks, well made and properly cooked paninis, and atmosphere make this the best spot on campus (better than the Skyroom Restaurant in the wilk, without a doubt in my mind). Yet, the service has never been great. Whether it's eating just myself or with a group, the food always takes far longer than I would hope to arrive. On top of that, despite having table service there is no productive way to get help from an employee if something is wrong as they're always behind the counter. This is the fault of the organization, not the employees. Hiring and scheduling more people would take this to 5 stars.

I had a very good experience. Highly recommend the portobello chicken salad and the MOA cheese panini with basil. The sandwich and salad combo is a good deal. I probably spent like $15 total for the combo and a bottled soda. I’d say it’s worth it.

The menu is more limited than it used to be, but they do have gluten-free bread options sometimes. The staff is very friendly and allergy conscious, and happy to help accommodate dietary restrictions and requests.

I’m grading this down for the carrot cake. The menu has a photo of a large regular slice of cake. Looks good so I buy one for my son. What they bring is two 1 1/2 inch squares from a sheet cake. (??) I had already paid for it but if the photo had been accurate, I would have saved my money.

Ordered food at 10:45 am for food at 12:30. Got my half the order at 12:50, they said the soup wasn’t ready, got that at 1:15, then they said that the bread would be coming soon. They pass out bread to everyone around the except for me, I went up at the lady that said she’d get me the bread was chatting away with her coworkers. They gave me one breadstick at 1:30 and didn’t even apologize. Needless to say I’m pretty pissed with the service as I waited a whole hour to get my whole plate. I wish I had been compensated or apologized to or something, but everyone was just standing around talking to each other.

Update: Manager reached out to me and offered apologies and 2 coupons and was very sweet!

What kind of café doesn't serve coffee? I know it's byu but don't call it a café if there isn't any coffee.

While visiting MOA we stopped in the cafe. Nice soup, salad, and sandwiches with some pasta dishes, as well. At,ospher was quiet and quite pleasant. Food was delicious. Odder from an electronic kiosk. Food is brought to your table.
