I have really enjoyed the food at R&R for a while. It has gone down in quality after the Savory Fund acquired it, but it's still reasonably good.

What is not good anymore is their service/customer support! Which you might imagine would be easier/better under a large restaurant private equity company that can streamline those precesses. This has not been my experience.

When using their app I had a technical issue redeeming a reward. I tried to find contact information, but their website has only a contact form. I filled it out, but it was broken and would not send my message.

In the past, a manager of R&R had reached out to me after I gave them some feedback. I tried emailing that address I had and then tried [email protected] and [email protected], but to no avail. Finally, I sent them a message on LinkedIn!

It has been over a week and I've received no reply. They don't seem to care about their customers' experience.

UPDATE: They responded and I had the technical issue resolved after a week or so. Slow response, for sure. Food still pretty good.

Staff is weak. Out of various items.

Legit out of everything when we got there. It was a Saturday at 7pm. No brisket, no mac and cheese, no ribs. Somehow they still have the audacity to call themselves a Bbq restaurant.

Came in at 7 for an event. They were out of pork, brisket, and ribs. We ended up with chicken thigh (which was dry even though how the hell do you dry out chicken thigh). After they said they were out of pork we found pork in our caveman burger which is wild considering they said they were out. They were open for another three hours without their top sellers. Do better

The potatoes are good but they didn't have them and it bothers me a lot that they offer something and don't always have them.

We went here for date night. I’ve been to this location before which is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 3. The brisket before was better and not dry, this time was pretty dry, maybe because it was like 9pm when we ate, but I still would expect a little better from r and r all the way until they are closed. They were out of two of the meats my wife wanted but they did give us free drinks so that was nice of them. Guy that rang us up was also nice.

It’s not good, but it’s also not terrible. The best way to describe it is like the food you eat at a football game. Expensive, but average at best. (And no football game)

I've been here twice. The first time was great and I thought it was my new favorite BBQ place. The second time was really disappointing. We were hoping to bring my parents and family a nice dinner last Saturday after they helped watch our kids while we finished Christmas prep. My husband had wanted to go to a different BBQ place but I convinced him to get R&R because I liked it so much the first time. We ordered 2 family meals. The meat (turkey, pulled pork, brisket, and chicken) was delicious for the most part. The chicken was over seasoned a bit but still alright. However the mashed potatoes (which we ordered 2 large tubs of) were so salty no one could eat them. We also did not receive the 2 dozen rolls or 2 bottles of sauce. It's hard to just eat straight meat without any sides, sauce, or bread so people needed to find other stuff to snack on even though there was extra meat when the other sides quickly ran out. Some of the younger kids only wanted mashed potatoes and didn't end up eating anything since they tasted so bad. The left over meat never got eaten and eventually was thrown away since there was nothing to eat it with. Even though no one complained, it was embarrassing and made me so sad because we really wanted to do something special to thank them.
Additionally, we used an AMEX gift card and it charged an extra $35 dollars to it. We were unable to use the rest of the card as we were shopping that day and when we picked up the food, no one could explain what the extra charge was. They next day the correct amount finalized but the extra charge was still pending and not allowing us to use it. The whole thing was so disappointing for me that I decided to go back in the next day to tell them what happened and ask again about the extra charge. They took a picture of the receipt and the extra charge showing up and told me they'd talk to the manager to remove the extra charge and at a minimum refund the items we didn't receive and the mashed potatoes within the next few days. We never heard anything else and a week later the extra charge is still there and there was no refund.

Must have went at the wrong time. Bread was dry, hush puppies tasted like they were cooked . Being from Texas it’s not even close. The wait staff was hit and miss it was loud and I asked the server to speak up couldn’t hear him and didn’t seem like he knew the menu.

Don't order takeout from here, they ALWAYS forget something. We're done trying to order from here.

All of the food that was ordered was amazing! Every piece of meat is smoked wether if it’s chicken, pork, or beef! Service was quick and they have soda fountains for your choice of drink! On the tables they had paper towels with 4 different choices of BBQ sauce.

R&R BBQ: A Mixed Bag in Provo

R&R BBQ in Provo offers a pleasant dining experience with a nice setting and decent service. While the chicken was flavorful and satisfying, the turkey was unfortunately dry. If you're a fan of barbecue and don't mind the occasional misstep, R&R BBQ might be worth a visit.

Definitely don't go at the end of the day... They run out of basically everything and aren't flexible with allowing one meat plates.
