Ruby River use to be our go-to but over the past year, the meat has lost its' quality. I ordered the Prime Rib, 16 ounce. It was terrible and barley looked like a slice of PR. No bark, terrible marble, tough as a shoe. My had the filet mignon. It was also shoe leather with chewy bacon around it. I think they've changed meat suppliers to save money and it shows. If a person is going to a steakhouse, they're willing to pay for a quality product!

I went here for dinner with a few people. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant seemed cleanly from what I could tell. The hostesses were friendly and helpful. The waiter could have been better he was more concerned about getting his empty tables filled then he was about the current tables he had. We saw him go to the hostess table quite a few times and hurt him over say to the hostesses that he had empty tables that they should fill. It took a while to get our food to us, and it also took a while to get a drinks to us and any refills. I got the black and blue burger, it was really good but they use a homemade blue cheese sauce which wasn't the greatest it would have been better if they used actual blue cheese. We also got a Caesar salad which was really good and just a plain cheeseburger. They're fries were pretty good.

TERRIBLE! We there last Spring (2024) and the food was delicious, the service great. But last night (Oct.22, 2024) it was about as bad as it could have been.
SERVICE: She was sweet and bubbly. But she had no idea how to be a waitress. She took forever to bring us 3 Dr. Peppers, 2 Pepsi's and 2 waters. Then she brought the bread. Then we waited for our salads. And we waited. And we waited.
She came back out with one more bread for our party of 7.
Finally the salads came. They were soggy and she got the dressings wrong on one of them. And she felt the need to say: "Sorry the salads took so long. SOME people are PICKY about getting them before their food." (I personally don't think it's unreasonable to want a little time to eat your salad before your entre.) 15 seconds after the soggy salads came to the table, our food was delivered.
FOOD: We have some people who like our steaks Medium Rare. One of us likes Medium. ALL of the steaks were Rare. One was literally cold inside and was "blue rare". The person who ordered her steak Medium got a VERY RARE steak. One person's steak looked like it never touched the grill. It was grey in color, no sear marks, and way too rare, almost like it was boiled in water, not grilled. One person's steak was cooked on one side and nearly raw on the other. Two in our party had steaks so rare they were inedible. I got up from the table and found the waitress. She took them back to the kitchen and a short time later out they came completely BLACK. They were extremely hot on the outside and barely different on the inside. It looked like someone in the kitchen just took a blow-torch to them.
I have a high tolerance for mediocrity. I understand times are tough, inflation, etc. I understand sometimes people are new to their jobs. So I don't like to leave negative reviews.
But last night at Ruby Ridge was so terrible, I would be negligent if I didn't warn people about it. My advice, don't go there. I'll never go back. It was that bad.

I have never had such poor service at a restaurant. It was a Monday night, we called & were told we didn't need a reservation. We had a party of 8 & after waiting 30 mins for a table they tried to split our party into 2 tables in separate areas & asked if that was okay. We told them it wasn't, we were there to celebrate a birthday & have a going away dinner. We were willing to wait a little longer but they refused to accommodate us so we went to Sizzler.
Parking: Shared with the hotel, can be hard to find a spot at times.

Went today to have dinner with family and that was a mistake. Steaks looked like they were cooked yesterday and put under a warming light. They were tough and barely warm and very little taste. Told the waiter and nothing was done. It was a waste of $150. Never again!
I worked here and had.to put my.two weeks in The management was really abusive. Especially Hector. He made me so uncomfortable. I was scared and cowered down everytime he spoke to me. The lettuce was always brown, ice.cream had mold on it. I saw them drop a steak a customer wanted reheated and reserve it. There was mice throughout the whole kitchen. I wanted to save them and put them outside but I watched the cook squeeze it with her hands. I'm not kidding.

We arrived with skepticism that the restaurant was attached to a hotel, but were impressed as soon as we entered. We were greeted by Andy, who would end up beingbour server and bartender. He was awesome!! Super conscientious and detailed in explaining the menu and the service was impeccable. I have had much worse service in much fancier places. The food was very good and everything was as it should be. When we come back to Provo, we will definitely be back and ask for Andy!

This place is excellent. I don't know why this place has a low rating. Service was great and the food was really good. I love prime rib and it was cooked to perfection. Still red in the middle with a crispy edge, nice! The mushrooms were great. The shaved horseradish was a nice touch!
