The ceviche and lomo Saltado were delicious. The ceviche melted on my tongue, and the lomo Saltado had a savory smokey taste. The chicha morada drink was good, not too sweet, more of a hibiscus flavor. I would eat here again.

Amazing! So tasty! Loved the appetizers, drinks, spaghetti con camarones. The wait staff was so friendly and nice. Service was quick. The ambience is very comfortable. The food was so fresh.

This review is written my 11 year old daughter: “The food is so mouthwatering, so good and so filling. A really good place for family tradition parties. The staff is so kind and tends to your needs. They are fluent in both Spanish and English. Although it is a little expensive, the plate itself is really full, enough to feed for hours without going hungry after an hour or two. Easily the BEST restaurant I’ve been to.”

The food here is extremely good and authentic! They used to have the best Aji de Gallina I've ever tasted until they sadly removed it from the menu (bring it back please?!). The Pollo / Lomo Saltado is the best I've tasted here in the states and they still serve that. The price is a bit on the high end in my opinion, considering the poor condition of the interior, gross bathroom, and sub-par service. Also, one thing that is super annoying is the chemical they spray to clean the tables is EXTREMELY STRONG! It makes it so you can barely breath if they clean a table while you're trying to eat, you can't even taste the food anymore. However, the food is the best around and they use high quality ingredients, so I can still justify going here. My recommendation to them is to do some deep cleaning, light remodeling / fixes, some training on customer service, and switch that stupid chemical cleaning spray and this restaurant will be extremely high quality and will get more business!

I recently dined here and though I had a great experience and the food was extremely delicious!!! There were a couple of things that I did not like. One, I was not able to see a detailed receipt of the meals consumed prior payment. So I paid blindly for whatever the cashier said it was consumend. Two, there was a gratuity charge included in the bill, which I did not know about until I had already paid. Maybe it was because I had a party of 4? It is my understanding that the automatic gratuitiy charge applies only to a party of 5. So, I unexpectedly paid one gratuity charge prior taxes and the regular tip after taxes. I do not believe this is fair so I wanted to post this to make the public aware of the situation. I might not be coming back in a while. I feel somewhat ripped off.

My wife has Celiac, so finding good gluten free options is sometimes a challenge. Se Llama Peru was a great experience though. We had some questions and the chef/owner came out to answer them. He offered to make Limo Saltado (has french fries) with a new batch of oil so they wouldn't get cross contaminated. There are some dishes that include soy sauce, and he can make them with gluten free soy sauce. The food is so delicious, such great flavors, and such a wonderful experience!

We had the lomo saltado and the lomo montado with the fried banana. I wanted to drink the sauce on the lomo saltado. And the combo of the steak, banana, and fried egg is incredible. Plates were huge and delicious.

We had an amazing experience at Se Llama! The chicken was hands down the best I’ve ever had — incredibly flavorful, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was packed with delicious seasoning. We left completely full and satisfied. The portions were generous, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to whenever I’m craving some seriously good Peruvian food!
This place deserves more recognition. I had never heard of it before, but it was recommended to me so I gave it a try. I came in today for a little lunch date, and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. I'll definitely be coming back!
