I've been to Shoots twice and I had a great experience both times. The food is very yummy and the portions were big enough that I was able to take home leftovers. We went on a Tuesday evening and were seated immediately and the food came out very quickly.
We had 5 orders total.Compared to2 star food quality &1 star dish size,it was 5 star price. Stay away!

The firecracker chicken and honey walnut chicken are delicious. The light, crispy texture is fantastic.The hot garlic chicken was not as good. It had a dark sauce that was too strong and not to my taste.

This is an amazing restaurant. I had such a great experience here. The food was fresh, the prices were reasonable, and the service was excellent. The server was attentive and accommodating. This restaurant is definitely worth trying.

Excellent service, atmosphere and good food. We were first impressed with the free wonton chips and sweet and sour dipping sauce. Staff were very friendly and professional.I enjoyed my veggie moo shu. Others liked their food too. The chocolate-dipped fortune cookies were a great finish to the meal.Only 1/3 children liked their kids meal. I’m not taking points off for picky kids though.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options. Veggie moo shu was surprisingly tasty.
Mediocre Food was overpriced and service was poor. Waitress forgot our soups and we got charged for it. If you want authentic Chinese food, this is not the place for it. Catered to American taste.

On a quest for lunch while shopping, Shoots was a delightful choice. Their flavors and dishes brought back why I loved this place to begin with. We had a date night and ordered take out. It was going to be several minutes, so we decided to walk around.While out the power to the entire Riverwoods went out. Nervous we weren't going to be able to get our food or anything we headed back.The cooks prepared our order still, in the dark and via flashlights. The service staff packed our stuff and provided such an excellent level of service, particularly during a bit of a panic for them.The team here was excellent. The service was also above expectation.

I've been coming here for two years now, ordering the wonton soup and beef & broccoli. as of about 3 months ago, they significantly reduced the portion size of both the soup and the amount of beef. we told the manager we were unhappy and wanted more beef. he refused, saying everyone gets the same and lied that they "actually increased their portions." im not bringing my family here anymore. the skimpy portions are not worth the price
