This was quiet, clean, and open late. Our waitress was on her own covering multiple positions. Good food served with a smile.

Nice atmosphere. Service was slow, even though it wasn't busy. Limited menu.

We visited on a very slow weeknight, in that quiet time between Christmas and NYE. Because it was such a quiet time, our server -Mason- was pretty much running the entire front room by himself. But that didn't slow him down, he was incredibly friendly and thorough. The high-ceilinged room was so empty that true ambiance was missing, but I can tell it normally would be a great spot for a small gathering or even a date. I had the salmon, which was acceptable, but what really stood out was the wild mushroom risotto that accompanied it. So, so good! I would return and have a giant bowl of just that!! Because this is Utah, wine is served in laughably small 3 oz or 5 oz pours, but at least alcohol is available. :) My only regret is I forgot to check-in on Yelp for a discount, so don't forget that step!

I have wanted to come here for years and I was really disappointed. We did like the bacon cheddar dip, but most of the food tasted like cafeteria food. And with the price we paid, I expected the service to be a lot better. While I do hope that we just happened to come on an off-night, I cannot recommend this restaurant (not two out-of-towners and not to locals). There are so many other good options in the area and this was a below average meal for an above average price.

It's possible we just ordered the wrong things, but I was not impressed. The place looks clean and sharp, though my chair wasn't very comfortable and my water glass was dirty (had chunks of something stuck to the inside). Our server was just okay... Didn't know what salad dressing options they had, didn't refill our waters or check on us. I actually think his shift may have ended while we were there because a different guy eventually brought us the check. The second guy seemed very nice, so maybe we just got lost in a transition or something? The simple salad was nice. Simple, but the shaved parmesan on it elevated it. The bacon cheddar dip was also decent. Solid bacon flavor. But the BBQ chicken flatbread was super mediocre, and the sweet potato fries tasted like any old frozen sweet potato fries you could make at home or get from any cafeteria. Overall, not impressed with the food. It's possible some of their other menu options are fantastic, but my experience was rather forgettable.

The evening meal was wonderful and the servers were very attentive, but I was not that impressed with breakfast, which was the same price as my evening meal.

I like coming here to have a quiet bar experience. There is no where else we can go besides ABG's to just get a drink. And we would pick this everytime over that dump. The service wasnt at all great. He helped other people first that got there after us. And couldnt get his attention to get water. The charcuterie board was plain and was missing some essentials ingredients, but overall we enjoyed it.We will definitely go again to see if the service improves.

Extremely disappointed. I got the bison burger; it was dry. The sweet potato fries were barely warm. The other 5 entrees (pasta, flatbread, and burgers) we ordered were just -meh, not terrible but not great, especially for what we paid. I expected more from a Marriott property. Service was good, but, since we were the only people in the restaurant, it wasn't surprising. Unfortunately we won't frequent this eatery.

Stayed at the Marriott so we went to Slate for convenience. Honestly, the food was bland and something I could have made at home (and I'm not a cook). It was also super expensive. However, I would like to recommend Michael the bartender. Despite the high prices at the bar, Michael was great company and personalized our drinks. They were beautiful and tasty.

Breakfast Buffet like most hotel "free" breakfast... dry, poor quality, poorly cooked.

Was hoping for the kind of atmosphere that goes with a five star meal. But the restaurant is quite literally in the middle of a hotel lobby. You share your eating space with people checking out and in, and on their way to and from their rooms. Food was fine, but the price made me expect extraordinary and it didn't reach those heights. Service was very friendly and attentive but I was a little underwhelmed by my Valentine's day experience.

Average meal for above average prices. The server failed to ask how my daughter wanted her steak cook and it showed up well done & was almost inedible. They did do us a solid & offered a discount but it was incredibly disappointing for a $32 ribeye to show up cooked well done. My husband's steak had bone pieces in it and he broke a crown causing a visit to a local dentist. Not a great way to start at 4 day trip. I don't think we will be back & I hope others have a better experience than we did!

When we arrived it took a good 15 minutes to be greeted by then we just ordered our food with our drinks. After 30 minutes of waiting we asked and we're told "it will be few minutes." We waited another 30 minutes until we actually got our food. By then we asked to get our food To Go because we had already been there for over an hour. We also didn't get refills on our drinks until after 45 minutes and the only reason we did is because the staff could tell were were frustrated. And the food was not worth it. The salad was so small and the 7 dollar added chicken was extremely small for what I paid for. The quesadilla tasted like something I would make in the microwave in college. I don't appreciate excuses and false promises for the late food. Overall it was a disappointing night.

Great food, it's a great place to go for a nice dinner, but a little pricy (you don't get the full meal you should for the price), I would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice night out!
