Very fun fondue on Thursdays with imported Greyere cheese with their on 70% dark chocolate with all kinds of fun things to dip and eat. I would have loved to taste their teas and fine chocolate.

I can't believe I've overlooked reviewing this place until now, considering I've loved this place for at least 10 years now. I've been to tastings (both chocolate and cheese), tea times, I've eaten their fondue, subsisted almost exclusively off of their iced chocolate while enduring morning sickness, brought family here for sandwiches and sipping chocolate. I have almost always had some of their oil or vinegar or both in my cabinet. Whenever I go to visit friends out of state, I take chocolate from Taste. And now that I've moved out of state, I've been trying to find a comparable iced choclate, or even just a good chocolate factory, but nothing really compares. Like I know Provo isn't as metropolitan as some of our other west coast/western US cities, but I'll be darned if we don't have the very best chocolate factory/chocolate cafe around. And that's not just my hometown bias talking.

The place is perfect for girls reunion! We went there for brunch an it was good, the little soup that they gave you with their sandwiches is very tasty and rich on flavor. Sad they don’t have coffee options, but the tea pot 🫖 was good

We did the chocolate tasting for a date and I honestly didn’t know what to expect. It was so fun and interesting, more than either of us expected! They did a tour of the chocolate factory explaining how their in house chocolates are made and during the tasting explained so much including what factors lead to different tasting chocolates. The vibe of the building is antique and so cute. Our tasting guide was funny and did a great job hosting us. Overall loved it!

Delicious treats, terrible service

I tried reaching out to the restaurant regarding my negative experience but did not receive any courtesy, so have decided to share a review for those planning on doing the afternoon tea experience.

A week prior to my birthday, everyone in my party paid and booked separate reservations for the afternoon tea online. Then, another member of my party called to ask if we could all sit together for the reservation. She was told this was okay.

When we arrived, the waitress said they had no knowledge of the number of people in our group, but would try to make it work. I understand this could have been a simple misunderstanding/missed note.

However, after seating us the waitress proceeded to scold us multiple times about not giving them enough notice to accommodate our party (how is a reservation not a notice?), made a big deal about adding an extra chair to our table, was dismissive of additional requests (missing plates, silverware, orders) and made the experience overall sour.

I would love to visit the establishment again as it is beautiful venue, but I have never experienced such bad service in the valley and felt the need to apologize to all of my party members for the experience.

Please do better and treat your customers, especially first time* customers with more grace in future.

The molten cake was everything but cake. Really small piece of cake and just bunch of chocolate. Now that’s not the issue, the running chocolate taste really bad. It taste like raw eggs and not really good

The chocolate mousse was okay. Not the best I’ve ever had but a good 5/10. My wife thought it tasted like spoiled soy sauce.

We will come back to try something else but so far the only thing preventing a 1 star is that the atmosphere is good.

I have been a long time customer of Taste and used to rave about it to everyone, but unfortunately the quality of their drinks have really gone downhill recently and prices have increased. I used to love their hot chocolate, cacao tea, and frozen hot chocolate but now they are all watered down. Tonight we tried their almond hot chocolate, but it really tasted no better than what you can make from a packet at home. Their sandwiches also increased in price by quite a bit and don't fill you up. I hope they bring back the quality they used to have!

This was absolutely wonderful! We had a staff party for tea time and it was so wonderful! The server was so kind, we felt bad that there was only 1 server and 25 of us. He did so good getting our drinks though. When the food was brought out there were a few more servers and it was wonderful.
Food and drinks were absolutely delicious.

Everything I ate was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. Service was excellent. The prices were so affordable and reasonable, I ended up getting more things to try than I usually would. The atmosphere was great, and the interior was elegant and very pretty. Everything was photo worthy. I live an hour away but I'll be back!

We had: The Croque, Pumpkin and Gnocchi soup with focaccia, salad, smores dessert, pumpkin chai tea, and the Mexican hot chocolate.

Kid-friendliness: The staff was great with a large group of teen girls that came in.

Wheelchair accessibility: No automatic doors but the tables could be used easily in a wheelchair and the whole venue is even tile floors.

Splurged on the high tea for my sister's birthday and it was totally worth it. Everything was delicious and, having lived in London before, felt very authentic. We were surprisingly full afterward as well so don't be deceived by the tiny size of the sandwiches and biscuits. Delightful all around!
