The reason I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s lacking ethnicity. I’m first generation in the US of a family who came from the Mother land of Mexico.. so maybe I am a little bias but nevertheless, when I got to the menu page with the combos I saw that most of the items were chicken?? Donde esta la carne??? Well anyways moving forward my husband and I ordered and the food it self was delicious but prior to our order I asked the waitress if they have carne asada con arroz y frijoles she looked at me and asked “carne asada?” With a confused face and I told her I wanted a plate with carne asada, arroz y frijoles.. I showed her a picture and then she recommended a burrito that comes with carne asada and a side of rice and beans. I understand that it’s similar but I honestly just wanted a plate with meat, rice, and beans. She said that they don’t have that and she can get the owner, which at that point we had been traveling all day so I don’t want to give the wait staff a hard time so I ended up ordering their “combo amigos” which just came with tacos, a quesadilla, and taquitos and guacamole(not watery) which is always nice. Like I said food was still delicious.

Hard pass. We thought we would give this restaurant another try, but it will be our last. While the menu looks professionally done, it is very deceiving. You see the menu item and a certain price along with a picture. You would then assume the picture is what you would be getting for that price, NOT. while the picture shows 3 sopas, or 3 fried cinnamon sugar tortillas, it ends up that price is just for one. It also shows a combo meal pictured with rice and beans, but alas, that is not what you are going to be getting without paying extra. Even with the color coding system saying which items come with rice or rice and beans, that is not what you will get for the price. On a side note. I am vegetarian and although they let me make a substitution (huge improvement from the past) and specifically asking if the rest of the plate would be meat free, that is not what was presented to me. The sauce for the burrito had chunks of pork in it . The waitress was very apologetic, but still a huge mistake if you have a food allergy...Overall the food had some potential (lots of options and variety), but was just not all that good.

The menu is very deceiving. Don't believe what you read. Ask the server what comes with rice and beans but don't expect the server to be able to tell you. If you are vegetarian make sure to look over your order carefully. Other than that the food was edible.

Their food is really good, I know I enjoyed it a lot. The meat wasn't dry it was perfectly moist, which is extremely nice! The only downside that I really had was their rice. It seemed like minute rice that wasn't mixed well with the seasoning they use for their Mexican Rice. Other than that, I'd still highly recommend this place.

Worst experience ever....atmosphere showed broken and damaged wall coverings, including baseboards......food was tasteless and no aroma of good food in the air. Pureed pinto beans, gummy rice, raw peppers in chile relleno. ....nothing good to say ,unfortunately. We (2) were only persons in restaurant at 12:30........

My husband ordered a ham and sausage torta he got a hot dog sandwich. My tostadas had like 1/2 an oz of chicken in them so basically just fried tortilla. They used mozzarella in my quesadilla. Only thing that was great was our server. Cute young lady with av great attitude.

The only reason I'm rating them is because it was the first time I had gone since they switched owners. It used to make you feel like family when you walked in and this felt like that weird uncle that never really cared. I asked about a sauce I used to get and they acted like I was crazy and had no clue what I was saying. The space its self was really different they changed the bunched and my clothing stuck to the fabric which made it hard to get in and out. Other than that it was okay however I won't be going there again anytime soon because the waitress demanded a tip after I already didn't have a great experience.

This place changed hands a while back so don't look the reviews from years ago. The place was remodeled and had new owners so we decided to give it a try. The waitress was very friendly and the place was clean. The chips and salsa was delicious and plentiful. We ordered a large variety of dishes and found each to be tasty and well-prepared. The fajitas were particularly good with tender beef. The refried beans were ok and the rice was not the best, but it was still acceptable. Let's keep this place in business. Give it a try.

Chips and salsa were good. I couldn't eat my beef enchilada, the beef was way overcooked and seemed as if it had been sitting around for hours. The flour tortilla almost needed a knife to cut it. The waitress was kind and helpful. Men's bathroom toilet wouldn't flush and paper towel dispenser was jammed. The water barely turned on in the sink, BUT the bathroom was clean. We will not go back.

Probably my least favorite Mexican food in Richfield. It is very solid American Mexican. But doesn't have any traditional Mexican taste. The service we received, however was excellent! Prices are a little expensive, but everything is right now. Does have enough room for larger parties. They do not serve alcohol.
