A local highly recommended this place and said it was the best Mexican restaurant in Richfield. That means Richfield does not have a good Mexican restaurant. Food mediocre, the horchata was watery, and their AC was broken because it was uncomfortably warm. I would not recommend.

Bone pieces in my carnitas burritos ruined it for me. I could've broken a tooth! I didn't want to return it and wait for another one to get made but I should have. My friends liked their burritos (shrimp and carne asada). I'd try another place before going back.

Hermon is our favorite server. He goes the extra mile to be kind, helpful, patient, hospitable, warm smiles and checks on us after we get our meals brings us things we may have forgotten, a rarity these days to see a young man in today’s world be more concerned about helping others have their best day before himself. Eagerly looking anticipating the needs or desires of others. He seems to enjoy his job from a positive perspective and does NOT have that typical selfish, rude, entitled attitude that plagues today’s young people when they have to work and fall apart if effort is required. No, Hermon is a rare breed and our time at Playa Azul is always delicious delightful and welcoming because of him. The owners are also warm and friendly, and will come out to greet customers between food orders.

First time here. Food is very good. Flavorful. Spicy but not mouth burning. Service was good. Had a new server but worked out well. I had the special... Enchiladas poblano. Large plate, rice and beans and a Large glass of soda. Hubby got the Mole. It was spicier but very flavorful. Neither of us could finish it all

I don't know if it was just me but I ordered a carnitas taco and it was terrible, the tortilla is fried with fat, they put two pieces of meat and a kilo of pico de gallo in my taco... I thought it could improve; La Gringa is still my favorite.
