One of the worst operated Jdawgs I’ve been told

Very mixed feeling about this place. It was my first time there. The environment was very uninviting. The employees on their phones behind the counter, the guy helping us mumbled and you couldn’t understand a word he was saying.
We felt like we were putting them out for being there. On top of that, no music, no real atmosphere. Just echoed and felt lackluster.
Once ordered, I ordered two dogs and on the second they asked what I wanted. I said exactly the same as the first and it was still somehow different.
Now, the dogs and fries were good. I really enjoyed them. But the service and atmosphere made it so I won’t want to return there.

I asked if they could give me the bun and polish dog separate so I could take it home to my son and not have it get soggy and the employee said he couldn’t per company policy… this is a RIDICULOUS Policy. The Employee was nice and they did a great job on the food but as a company that policy needs to be changed. The employees and service and food were 5 star besides not being able to give me them separate and that’s why I leave a one star. I hope corporate makes a change to this policy!

The hotdogs are good here but an extremely limited menu. The price is quite high for hotdogs, but not horrible. Staff seemed unenthusiastic! Their special sauce seemed underwhelming.

J-Dawgs was an interesting experience as there wasn't a whole lot to their menu but their menu is more showcased in the toppings of hot dogs.
The hot dogs are fairly large and have solid flavor, for the price it's understandable and to a degree a desirable price but Costco still beats them in price not quality.
The young man that helped us at the checkout stand was very patient and understanding so it was a pleasant surprise as you could tell that he knew we hadn't been there before and gave us time to think for a moment of what was what. In addition, he kept us in the loop about when our meal would be ready as they had quite a few customers in the store too before us, amazing customer service... I unfortunately didn't get his name. The other two associates that were they could work on speaking up and their demeanor (not upset, just helping giving people room to grow).
The only thing that was upsetting about the entire visit was the fries as they were horribly over seasoned which each bite of their fries had a chunk/clump of their mixture of spice, it was a little too much for the senses.
Cleanliness of the restaurant was definitely shown and welcome and the other issue we had was our table it was terribly unstable and was wobbling around and spilling our beverages.
Overall, we liked it but there is room to grow in some areas.

I ordered some fries and a hot dog. I think the workers need to be under supervision when putting toppings on. I got onions and pickles and they put like 2 onions on it and only one small pickle slice that didn't even fill it halfway. The bun wasn’t toasted either. Also the fries were like sopping wet. Like more than the normal steam. It felt like someone dipped it in water. Bag so wet it ripped open. they were also cold and undercooked. Very gross.

I just gotta say that after my family picked me up from Salt Lake City International Airport... we were a bit hungry. I'm not from here so my cousin mentions this place and I said yeah who doesn't love a hotdog 🌭?
Well we stopped in and HOLY SMOKES‼️These hotdogs are pretty special because the way they cook them. The toppings were awesome but that special sauce was MAGIC. From now on whenever I come into town I am gonna stop here for a delicious Dog and some fries. The staff was great and service and atmosphere was wonderful. Just a nice place to have some good old fashioned American hotdog and fries.

I eat here often, the fries are seasoned so well they are so good just to come for them. But the dogs are on nice bread buns. It's simple, close by and good. I recommend.

The fries were served so hot that I had a hard time eating them. The dawg was on point as well. I love the special sauce. I also got mayo, pickle relish, spicy mustard, celery salt, onions, and sauerkraut on it. Great combination of toppings.
