amazing food! the rice reminded me of Hawaii, and the chicken was perfect. 100% recommend
Thank you so much for catering our sweet 16! We loved your food, your service, your staff!! Everything was perfect and all of our guests LOVED it!! So grateful for all of you! Highly recommend!!
Kokonut Hawaiian BBQ catered our son's wedding reception last week. They were so easy to order from and work with. They took time to answer all of our questions and checked in with us a couple times before the event. We ordered the full service option which included delivery and three servers. They arrived early, and were so organized. We couldn't be more impressed with the quality of their service, the taste of the food (growing up in Hawaii, I know what Hawaiian BBQ should taste like, and they did not disappoint), the amount of food for the price we paid, and the professional manner they conducted themselves throughout the whole process. We would absolutely order catering from them again.
I recently dined at Kokonut Grill in Riverton, attracted by the promise of authentic Hawaiian cuisine. While the ambiance of the area is undoubtedly appealing, I couldn’t help but feel disconnected from the pricing structure of the menu. Living in Utah, where the minimum wage hovers around $7.25, affordability is crucial for many of us who work hard for our earnings. As someone who lives with my parents and is not on the receiving end of financial handouts, I navigate my expenses carefully, seeking value in every purchase.Unfortunately, Kokonut Grill seems to overlook the financial reality for many of its potential customers. The prices, though perhaps justified by the quality and ambiance, are not aligned with what’s feasible for everyone, particularly for those of us earning around minimum wage. It’s disheartening to see that, despite being situated in such a nice area, there isn’t more consideration for making at least a portion of the menu more accessible.I hope to see Kokonut Grill introduce options that cater to a broader range of financial circumstances without compromising on their culinary standards. It’s essential for businesses, especially those in well-to-do areas, to remember the diverse economic backgrounds of their clientele.

This used to be our favorite Hawaiian place since they opened close to us in Riverton. Last time we went, we were very disappointed to see that they changed their entire menu to bowls that aren’t even worth the money. They really aren’t the same and it’s extremely disappointing. Won’t be going back again sadly. Anyone reading this, go to Auntie’s Hawaiian Kitchen instead! Very disappointing Kokonut Grill!

Super sad to give this one star. I use to frequent the woods cross on a weekly if not more basis. And got super excited when they built this location near to where I moved. Came in when they originally opened and found out they changed the Katsu Chicken from actual chicken breast to what seemed like premade chicken tenders (more breading than actual chicken) visited once with my son, and then came back this evening and they switched from plates to bowls with way to much “stuff on it” with smaller portions. I probably won’t be returning till they bring back what made their food so good to begin with.

Super disgusted in the menu change. Portions are tiny, prices are high. I do not recommend at all.

Who changed the menu?? I am never coming back unless they change it back to just the way it was! This place had the best Hawaiian plate I’ve ever been to. Now it’s terrible!
Came in to try what I heard was good Hawaiian and found that they’ve switched to bowls only. Too bad. I’ll be going elsewhere for lunch today.

Nothing online or signage on the stores says they should be closed, it’s 6:45 PM and they’re closed… Bothersome that I drove all the way here just for that revelation.
