Best Cheesesteak I Have had in the STATE!! The owner is amazing and the food has Heart put into it! I would much rather bring my family here than any chain place! Great Food Great Service!! Can’t wait to come back Every time!! Let’s make this small business Busy!!

This establishment is met for a good dining experience. With that said it ain't a place to go and order a double cheeseburger and expect McDonald's prices. This is a small business owner who hopes of getting bigger. The owner is a raiders nation fan which is the only thing that urks my Philadelphia boys. The moment you eat here all is forgiven. Real flavor and they care about your experience. Keep your BS out of here. Come here and enjoy real food and lift up someone who is having a bad day like those cowboy fans. ?

We have ate here a few times now, the staff are nice, the manager is really sweet. The food is hot & fresh! My only negative feedback is that I wish they did grilled & fresh sweet yellow onions! They have so much flavor, if there just were grilled & fresh sweet yellow onions paired together, it would be the cherry on top!

Take our money, dang it!!!
I'll preface this review, by saying we're honestly stingy when it comes to tipping and extremely picky when it comes to eating out. We're also familiar with running a small restaurant, so when we say we're impressed, WE'RE IMPRESSED!!
Went there with my husband and kid for my birthday dinner. First time going there, wasn't sure what to expect. The owner was manning the register and was enthusiastic to see new-comers. Readily explained the menu with recommendations and answered our questions. It was mere minutes that we started getting our order delivered to our table. Everything was hot, fresh, and sizzling!
I got the Honey Garlic Cheesesteak which I was blown away by. I would call it more saucy than cheesy but only by a margin and it was absolutely delightful. IT HAD WHOLE SLICES OF CARMALIZED GARLIC! If you like garlic, get this one. I chatted with the waitstaff girl and she said they slice the garlic themselves. (Mind blown!) But it was a perfect blend of sweet and savory.
My husband got the owner's recommendation of the Mushroom Pepper with added jalapeños. It's what a REAL Philly Cheesesteak looks and tastes like. There were large cracked black pepper that made it warm (spicy-wise), but not overwhelming. And the cheese was ooey-gooey. Its really hard to impress my food-critic husband, but he's still raving about his sandwich.

Oh, and both sandwiches were STUFFED with meat and cheese. Murphy's does not cut on quality! We both noted that the vegetables used were fresh and high quality - a choice that not a lot of restaurateurs would make as they would be chopped and cooked.

The quality continued into dessert. My husband was kind enough to return to the register to ask if there was anything they could do for my birthday. The cashier girl was super friendly and said, "I'll see what I can do!" She then came over to our table a minute later and asked us what we wanted and that all 3 of us got one dessert each. (I won't say that your experience will be the same, as we're a small party, and Murphy's likely does not get many people celebrating there.) She good-naturedly went along with my kid who insisted he just wanted a scoop of ice-cream, then clarified his order by asking him again. Of course, he changed his mind and said he wanted a cookie on the side, too. They happily did as he asked. My husband and I got the brownies-and-icecream.

I was 3 bites in before I realized that "I REALLY like this!". (I know desserts! Especially reaturant desserts.) For Murphy's being a place focused on serving Philly sandwiches, they did not cut corners here either. REAL VANILLA BEAN ICECREAM, people! You could see the vanilla bean dots and taste the heavy cream used in the ice-cream. Icecream is an expensive menu item to keep on hand, but it was fresh and not crystallized. Same thing with the brownie. They served a huge square of it, and it was definitely baked that day and of a high quality. (Also, 95% sure their sandwich bread is in-house made and baked.)

The service was amazing. Had a friendly girl check by our table several times to see if everything was good and to take dishes away. Better service than some sit-down restaurants we've been to. Owner came by our table to congratulate me and joked about singing happy birthday, but didn't want to scare us away.

Everyone we saw working there was happy, chipper, and enthusiastic. Soon after we sat down a large group came in with thier own individual orders which might throw off some cooks, but we saw that everything continued to run smoothly. The owner came out to personally greet some people, but just as quickly went back to continue working with the staff. He's clearly someone who knows everything about his restaurant and is willing to work side-by-side with his employees.

We're ashamed that we didn&#

Menu is completely different from online. Prices are pretty insane. A very small thing of fries is eight dollars. One sandwich and two sides was about 30 bucks. Without drinks.

Read the owners response. Everything you need to know about this business is right there. Just changed my review to one star. if you call one sandwich and two sides with no drinks, food for two people, you’re out of your mind. Good luck and I hope others have a better experience if they choose to eat here.

First time trying Murphy’s. Dined in.

The food is made fresh and it tastes delicious. There are tons of options for different Philly Cheesesteaks and burgers. They also have wings sometimes and I’ve heard really good things about them.

I had the 8 inch Honey Garlic Philly Cheesesteak. The sauce, bread, and meat were all very good. The service was good and the staff were quick to clean tables.

On the flip side, the prices have gone up and it seemed like it was difficult to get out without having spent at least $20 per person.

The 8 inch cheesesteaks are $13 per person and the fries are about $4.20 for a small boat that doesn’t even seem filled all the way. I understand inflation so I can see the cheesesteak price being fair, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to fill me up with just the sandwich. I would’ve liked to see the meal combo/fry price lowered for the amount of fries that are given. They also charge for fry sauces. I believe $0.25-$0.75 per sauce.

Overall, I think there’s a lot of good going into this place, the prices are just a bit high for what you get - even in an inflated market.

25 varieties of cheesesteak sandwiches, with options of having it over fries, tots, lettuce, etc. Great, friendly staff. Too bad this place is an hour away from where we live... we will have to look for excuses to "be in the neighborhood' and try more of their cheesesteak varieties.

I always have a good experience with Murphy's. Unfortunately, I ordered a meat and cheese only, but received the wrong order (ordered delivery). I let them know that I got the wrong order and didn't/couldn't eat it, and they refunded me for the mistake and went above and beyond to show they care about their customers.

Is it good, yes
But $20 for covered fries is too much
The philadelphian is better

$39 for a burger, a roast beef sandwich, and one order of fries. We placed an order on the kiosk, waited 20 minutes and after seeing four people get their food first (when they ordered after us) I asked for an update and the kitchen didn’t get it, but they did confirm they got my payment. So we waited another 15 minutes and finally got our food. The roast beef and bacon egg cheeseburger were actually pretty good. The fries weren’t. But for the same price at Five Guys I would have gotten a significantly larger portion of food (mostly fries, but still). The real reason for the poor review is they didn’t even give us a free drink or fry for the inconvenience.

Service was great and employees were welcoming and explained the menu to us. The cheesesteak was one of the best I’ve ever had. The only thing that could have made it better was if fries were included in the price. But we will definitely be back.

Our family ordered a 10 inch sandwich, fries, and drink, which cost each one of us about $30 with tax, or $150 for a family of five. I gave it 3 stars because the sandwich I got was 80 percent bread and 20 percent meat and toppings.
