Ordered takeout; two meat plate ribs and sliced brisket and giant loaded brisket tater. The brisket had minimal flavor and no smoke ring, it was tender though. There were 2 ribs in the meat plate.. what a rip off for the price. Decent flavor and smoke on the ribs. Mac and cheese side was... Bland. so very very bland.
The potato was cooked well and the chopped brisket along with their sour cream/cheese/seasoning mixture is very good. We tried the original and sweet sauces, even though we didn't order the sweet that's what was in the bag. The original is mild with hint of vinegar and light sweetness, nothing amazing. The sweet sauce is not very good and didn't fit with anything we had ordered. The hush puppies were more like a donut in texture but tasty, a little sweet still.

Ribs - cold, dry, distinct "old" flavor
Pulled pork - cold, dry
Chicken - cold, very salty, dry
Mac and cheese - cold, bland, congealed, tastes like day old Kraft mac n cheese
Hush puppies - cold, deep fried cornbread balls, chewy (due do the breading being old and cold)
Sweet potato fries - actually pretty good, and the only thing served hot
This meal was honestly the worst plate of bbq I've ever had. R&R used to be good, right? That's what I remember from a couple years ago anyway. But now, I'd rather go to a gas station for bbq. At least they're honest about keeping it under a heat lamp all day.

I used to go here 1-2x per month to various locations. The last time I visited i went to this Riverton location. They had run out of several food items so I had to change up my order that day. I took it to go like I usually did and when I got home I found that even with my modified order they still got it wrong and sent me home with something (fried pickles) it had to throw away because I hate pickles work a passion. I don't live close enough to have warranted a return to the restaurant that day.
I contacted them via their website thinking they'd give me a credit for the portion of the food I'd paid but not received. They never responded at all. Apparently, they couldn't care less. With a few prior poor experiences, this was the last straw for me. I haven't been back since and certainly not to this location.

Ordered chopped brisket and they gave me sliced. Ordered a dinner roll, they gave me hush puppies. She asked what sauce I wanted, ended up with no sauce. Restaurant was empty so it wasn't like they were in a rush.

Foods actually pretty good, our group got two orders of hush puppies which came out undone in the middle. We asked for some replacements which is very rare for us, and they refried the ones we gave them, then returned them. Not a huge deal tbh, BUT we had bitten into two of them and those were also returned refried…. Beware.

Its a good spot to get some tasty BBQ, we're fans of the brisket nachos (swap the chips for fries 👌). The restaurant could be cleaner but other than that it's a really good spot.

R&R has definitely upped their game closer to what it once was. The smokey/barbecue smell inside this tastefully decorated restaurant creates an old ski lodge feel. Food is served hot and fresh. Employees are efficient and friendly. Pulled pork and brisket are well cooked with deep, rich flavor and relatively little fat. The hamburger is a pre-made patty .. however it is still relatively tasty. Bun and condiments are fresh. Fries are seasoned and crispy on the outside .. soft on the inside. Garlic mashers are rich and full flavored .. good without gravy. Coleslaw is fresh and flavorful. Wings are some of the best in the valley. Each table has four signature barbecue sauces.
Parking: Free parking lot but .. it’s Mountain View Village so the lots are right and difficult to maneuver 🙄
