Sushi Yu (All you can eat sushi)

Went on a date here at 8:00pm and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Service was great! And the food was so freaking delicious. I think this might be my new go-to spot. I got the “On-demand” roll and my date got the Sesame chicken bento box and both were really good

Pretty good sushi spot serves a lot of different roles and some different appetizers and things like that but doesn't have sashimi which is a bummer.

The rice was really sour. But they do have a good variety. In my opinion you are much better off going someplace else and just buying your rolls outright

Edit: going from a 2 to a 1 because apparently sour rice is a sign it might be going bad. So there’s that. Hopefully it’s just bad tasting and not anything worse. Doubt it’s on purpose as the people working there seem nice

We tried Sushi Yu and thought it was okay. The service was friendly and the food came out quickly. The sushi rolls were good, the spring rolls weren’t great- probably frozen and heated up- and most of the other things were okay. We’d give it a 3.5 if that was an option. If you want an affordable, all-you-can-eat option this is a good place to go, unothing super special, but okay.
They also have a $3 surcharge on credit card payments, waived if you pay cash.

the staff working didn’t really speak english but everything was fine! it was slightly busy but everything came out in a 15 minute span and was really good! the deep fried rolls were my favorite and the potstickers 👏

This was not a good experience. We came here for Mother's day because my wife absolutely loves sushi. We got Orange Chicken for our kids and it tasted like it was cooked in old oil. It was terrible and something certainly off. My wife and I got all you can eat. The first issue is that 85% of the rolls are just tempura shrimp so not a great selection. I have eaten sushi all over utah and across the US, this was the worst I have ever had. We didnt even do a second round and ended up spending more on all you can eat than if we just got the rolls a la carte. I thought it was just me and I was being picky, but when I looked at my wife she gave me the look and I knew she was also disappointed. In order to not have to pay extra, on top of the $60 for the all you can eat, for unfinished rolls, so we choked them down. The other issue we had is that the soy sauce was watered down... I am sure of it. I don't know if that is a normal thing or if they were in a pinch. The first bottle we had was normal, but that ran out and both bottles we got after we're watered down. I have no clue how this place is getting 5 star reviews based on our experience. We won't be going back.

Excellent sushi spot, I have yet to order a roll I didn't like. Good lunch special prices, great variety, and very kind and polite service!

Came here for all-you-can-eat sushi but ended up getting all-you-can-eat rice. Why bother selling sushi? Could have sell rice instead. Way too ridiculous. Such thin fish with that giant portion of rice? Would never come back again. 😂
google needs to give me negative option to review this. It’s like serving a bowl of noodles with barely any sauce just to save cost — no matter how much you give, it won’t taste good because the balance is off.
That’s exactly how the sushi feels here.

This would have been a 5 star and I honestly still almost gave a 5 star because of how funny this ended up being. Basically me and my wife were eating and I was like “these songs sound so similar” and then we realized they just play one song on repeat all day 😂😂 quite hilarious. Pretty annoying. Other than that the food was amazing, service was amazing, place was clean and neat.

As soon as you walked in we were meet with a bad attitude. When we got our food we weren’t given the right rolls and when we tried to correct our server we got told no and the server rudely walked away. The quality of the fish and rolls was not fresh and the fish was discolored. Me and my boyfriend frequently go on Sushi dates and easily could tell the quality and the rolls were not correct I would recommend blue fish over this location if you are choosing a sushi spot.

Food is good but nothing special.
I love sushi but I'm always looking for more flavor and presentation to it to make it more satisfying. We ordered I think 3 plates (which is enough) but server wasn't very attentive or accommodating so we decided to not order more. It was good to try though.

The place was empty so I thought service would be great. A 2nd person walked in and got served first. Sure maybe he was ready but we just sat down. I had questions. I wouldn't go back. I didn't see the waitress again until I asked for the check meanwhile the 3rd party was getting a refill of water. The sushi was ok. I ordered an entre but we never got it so I don't know how the Sesame chicken was.

Food & service were excellent, however, the entire hour and 20 minutes we were here, the music was looping the first verse of Lady Gaga’s “Always Remember Us This Way”. The. Whole. Time.

I've been coming to this place for over 2 years now, and it's always been SO GOOD! I genuinely think the new server Arianna(sorry if spelled wrong) is turning this place around with the service she provides! It's crazy how much a restaurant can improve with a great server like that! Food has always been excellent, and now their service matches it! I will keep bringing everyone I know who likes sushi to this place!
