Burgers & fries are both super good. Burger is huge. Love this place! You do have to wait outside for your food, no drive thru either but that’s okay it’s worth it

I ordered 4 Double Big Ben's they always come with fresh fries. My kids and family love this place, we're from Pocatello Idaho so I have to stop here Everytime I'm in Ogden. That should tell you how amazing it is. Driving 2 hour's just for Burger bar heck yes

So here's the thing, I LOVE this place for it's fries and shakes. That's pretty much it. My husband likes their burgers n whatnot but it's strictly fries n shakes for me. Definitely an icon in it's location.

I want to come back in here and add to my negative review. As a business owner myself, I know how much these reviews can both hurt and also help a business. I stopped here on a Friday evening after seeing the place on my way to a family, after Thanksgiving, gathering. The family meal that afternoon was very limited and full of carbs, I was craving some solid protein and the idea of locally grown beef sounded good. I thought, certainly this place will be handing me a quality burger. I stopped here on the way back out of town around 5 pm with great expectations. The staff was indeed very friendly, prompt, and professional. The wait time was appropriate to the crowd present and the food ordered. The mushrooms really were spot on and the lemonade was as expected. The burger however was a major disappointment. The bun was cold and way oversized to the burger within. The pictures seemed to indicate my Big Cheese Ben would be fully loaded (reference the picture on the main sign out front, and elsewhere) and while I didn't say I wanted this and that on my burger, no one bothered to ask me what I wanted either. What I found a few minutes later, while driving down the road now a few miles away, was a plain cheeseburger with some crappy Utah fry sauce along with one pickle on this oversized cold bun. The burger hardly tasted like real meat, perhaps it was this fry sauce nonsense that they had put on here. It was indeed one of the worst burger experiences I have ever had and highly disappointing after approaching the place with such high hopes and expectations. I couldn't go near the place again, the taste and disappointment of that burger is seared into my memory. Obviously others have, and hopefully will, have a different and better experience, this was my experience and I have a history of leaving very positive and supportive reviews when they are due. I'm simply here to tell it like it was!
