Sad news. It's official. Mr Lee and his wife have retired and permanently closed this beloved multi-decade restaurant, long established and known in Roy Utah. Best wishes for this hard working and kind gentleman and his wife. May they enjoy their retirement years. They and their restaurant will be sadly missed.

Let the owner tell you what you want! He always knows! Your food will take a little bit of time to get prepared. Be patient! It's worth the wait! Support a local hard working older couple that are dedicated to this little gem! So tasty and satisfying!! It will be a sad day for the locals when they close their doors!

Went there today and he completely screwed up the order. Rice was soggy. Got fish instead of chicken strip. NOT HAPPY!!! BEEN HEAR LONG ENOUGH, SPEAK BETTER ENGLISH!!!

Food was freshly cooked; but, the fish wasn't fully cooked. It was better last time I ate here.

If you have not tried this you are missing out! I’ve heard people talk about this place and just never made it. Just wasn’t too sure from the outside of the building and location. We finally stopped. #1. Take Cash. #2 Get there BEFORE 7pm. #3 Take out only. BUT THIS IS GREAT FRESH FISH and we fed 5 adults for just over $20. Fish, shrimp, coleslaw, fried rice or French fries. They package it up and it travels well. They cook it while you wait. While there people kept coming in and they all said they have been coming here for many years. The best hole in the wall joint around!!!! Don’t wait give it a try… just be patient they make it fresh for each customer :)

Lee's deep fried fish and shrimp are fantastic and the price is right. Bring cash. It may take a little while so call ahead but it's well worth it.

Yesterday was our first time going to Lees and we were very impressed. My husband didn't think he was going to take me on a cheap date but that's what it turned out to be. They don't accept cards but the prices were less than what we expected so I'm not too bothered. The fried shrimp and fried fish was delicious along with the tartar sauce. The egg rolls are huge and STUFFED. The fried rice was the only thing that was a letdown. The peas, carrots, ham and eggs in it were very sparse.

Bare bones, run by a couple. Currently on dining in. Good food at a crazy good price.

Lee's Fish & Rice will spoil you on fish and chips (fies). Hot fresh big portions of Halibut perfectly fried. Everything is made to order.Cash and check only.

The best Tartar sauce I've ever had!. I ordered the halibut, it was. It as great as other reviews I have read. Prices are great! French fries are okay also.

Nice piece of Halibut for the price. Fries needed another minute in the oil, coleslaw was good, i believe the tartar sauce was store made. Everything is deep fried, just sayin.

Fish filets were perfect. Scallops and jumbo shrimp....delicious. large portions of fish. Coleslaw was scrumptious.

Very disappointed. I ordered the 3 piece fish, 3 piece shrimp, fries, and coleslaw for $10.40. I was charged $16.07, whatever, I'm hungry so I paid it. I clearly saw my order in the hot box, yet was told to wait outside. Brought my food out, went home. Nothing I ordered was in the sack. Went back , female worker wanted me to take food that was an hour old at this point. I told her no, you overcharged, and gave me the wrong food, I want my money back. After arguing, I finally got my money, and they lost a customer. Bad deal all the way around

I went last night for the second time in a week! This place has been here about 20ish years and it's the only Chinese food I buy. I've tried others but they're too expensive and not as flavorful as Lee's. I was able to get two orders of sour chicken ( which are huge!) And another order of fried rice for 10 bucks! At any other place I'd pay almost 30 for a lot less. Best place in Utah. If you have the chance to go, I bet you'll love it. Also, the couple that runs this restaurant are so kind. The orders are always fast, like 10 minutes and the lady brought it to our car! I'm always impressed by their quick and extremely kind service.

I didn't call ahead because it was kind of an impulse decision. There were several customers ahead of me and it was quite a wait but, considering that he was the only one there, he did amazingly well. The food, as always, was delicious and well worth the wait. Light, crispy and flavorful. Always a great meal.
