Good cookin! Everything is home made and fresh. The scones are delicious, and the atmosphere there is vintage/ cabin with nice big booths. If you ever had grandma's home made cooking, or want to experience it, I suggest giving this little place a good try. I wish I got a picture of their food. Their BLT takes up a large plate, their steak was cooked to perfect medium/rare exactly how I liked it, and their burgers are home made buns, their dinner salads are big enough for 2 people, as well as their Navajo tacos built on their delicious scones was delicious. Eat here and support the few of its kind ma and pa diners. Its well worth it!
I'll begin with the best part of our experience. The servers were wonderful and took good care of us. The fry bread is pretty good, with plenty to share. Unfortunately, we felt that the food was sub-par and way overpriced. The chicken fried steak wasn't tender, the green beans were canned, and the mashed potatoes were dry and from a mix. My husband had the breaded halibut and enjoyed it, but got a comparitivley small serving for the price. The ambience is fun, with old photos and some real ghosts. This was our second visit within a couple of years, and we most likely will not go back.
Delicious scones as always! One scone was enough for four adults and three young kids. Salad was huge! The grilled ham and cheese was perfection and you can never go wrong with chicken fried steak.Family atmosphere and very friendly staff.
Their scones are amazing, and huge! Their servers are kind and friendly, and their atmosphere is one of a kind. We have eaten here and enjoyed their Indian Tacos and burgers, but today we wanted steaks.Don't order the steak here, though, unless you really love undercooked, unseasoned meat. I ordered the ribeye, medium, but got rare. Sent it back and it came out just short of medium rare. Also, it seems that when they took the salt shakers off the tables they also got rid of the ones in the kitchen. The restaurant was also nearly out of steak sauce, which makes sense. In the end, I brought my steak home to finish cooking it with seasoning to enjoy later.
The food was great (I got the ham steak dinner... Yum!) Service was a bit slow. The inside looks cool, like you're in a cabin. The dinners come with plenty of sides, including scones. HUGE scones. Like literally 2 ft. long scones served in a long basket. They were delicious. I'd recommend this place for sure.
My brother and I were on a small road trip from Salt Lake City, stopped in on a Thursday evening. Cute and clean restaurant. Quaint, even. The young waitress was wonderful-- kind, attentive, friendly. The scones were HUGE, too large to eat a full one. :)We both ordered chicken friend steaks. The portions were large. Everything tasted okay, but not great. We didn't get steak knives with the meat, just butter knives, and no salt or pepper. Nothing was _bad_ and we think we'll give it a second chance if we're ever in Santaquin again, but I'd give the meals we received that night 3.5 of out 5
Absolutely phenomenal country style cooking. Super soup. Superb scones. Great gravy. Pleasant potatoes. And fricking amazing fried steak. And so much food, I ate well for two meals.
Waitress is really nice. All food orders were correct. Food is really good. Place is very clean and well organized. If you want to taste good home cooked meals this is a good place to go to. I will definitely be coming back here again.
Tried your restraunt tonight. Chicken strips and fries tasted like they were fried in old oil. Very bland. Husband ordered chicken salad. Tomatoes were moldy. Couldn't drink iced tea. Ordered coffee, not much better. Must be your water. Not impressed at all.
Historical and fun. The ambiance is filled with old photos of the owner’s ancestors, which feels nostalgic. The food was extremely delicious- made from scratch! The scones with the honey butter were heavenly. Our waitress was so friendly and told us about the history, which is very interesting! Also, this restaurant has a haunted reputation: they give tours on Saturday nights around 9 pm. You pay about $40, get dinner and a tour of the whole place, including the basements (there are 2). It’s been featured on a few paranormal shows, so if you’re into that, check this place out!

This is a quaint little place Santaquin. The environment is fun a d interesting, the service friendly, and the food was fantastic. We started with huge scones that came with meal in lieu of toast! I was just traveling through and stopped because it looked nice. I will be back.
Very helpful and friendly service and delicious hot buttered scones.
Best scones and customer service. When the cook was out the server made us the scones to go and made us an extra one for the extra time it took. We love this place and no matter what kids tell your kids, we made it out without a scratch haha.
We stopped in for breakfast today. The bacon was awesome! Had a great smoked flavor. The servings were huge, you definitely get a lot of food for the money. Our sweet waitress was so kind to tell us some paranormal experiences she has had at work. We were hanging on to her every word. She was a wonderful storyteller. Will definitely be back!
Always love going to this restaurant anytime we are in the area. I've never had a bad meal or poor service. The staff is always so friendly and the history hanging on their walls could keep you captivated for hours. Buy no matter what you order get scones, but be warned 1 scone can probably feed 3 people, we always end up bringing some home.
