I just went there today for dinner on Halloween and I ended up calling 911 because the food poisoning was so bad my arms went paralyzed. Do not go here ? I have a strong stomach and have never experienced anything like this.
A very fun place right off.The freeway in santa for some amazing sour dough sandwiches. I had a french dip sandwich which I highly recommend.

San Francisco Sourdough Eatery is this hidden gem in the Chevron gas station. The service times are consistently lengthy, but the sandwiches are always great and keep me coming back every time I'm in the area.
The best sandwich on the menu is the turkey avocado BLT. It's tough to recommend anything else when this sandwich is steps above the rest. If you get a soda, you can fill up at their drink station, or waltz over to the gas station one which has 3x the options.
Be prepared for a decent wait time on your sandwich. The fastest I've gotten mine in the 15+ years I've come here is 8 minutes; the longest is 20 minutes, with the average around 12-15. It's worth the wait. They've got a small dining room to eat at, or just take it to go. It's a sandwich after all. I had to go 4-stars because the service is never something to brag about, but this place is a must-stop if you love a great sourdough sandwich.

Great little sandwich shop. Generous sized sandwiches and plenty of meat and toppings. The baguette comes slightly toasted, not a hot, which gives a great outside crispy texture while the inside is fresh and soft. It does not have a strong sourdough taste so if that’s something you were hesitant on, it easily passes as a traditional French baguette.
It’s inside the chevron. But don’t let that stop you. Entire facility appears clean. Even tables for eating in.
Great breakfast sandwich, great service and Rhea was quick too! Thank you!!

Today my sandwich was disappointing. Bread appeared to have not been baked long enough. No brown on top or bottom. Way too soft for sourdough!?

These sandwiches are filled with hair , went to buy one and my sandwich had human black hair and a white hair , as well as fabric looking hairs . I went back and told them and they remade it and sure enough there was more hair in my new sandwich. I just threw it away, I can’t imagine how gross there kitchen is.

The sandwich is delicious but the service has tanked lately. Today, I walked in and found an employee cleaning. He came over and took my order and proceeded to make my sandwich with the same gloves he had been cleaning with. I asked him to please change his gloves which he did and then continued to make my sandwich on the same bread he began with. I asked if I could have a new piece of bread for my sandwich because he had handled it with dirty gloves. He then got out a new loaf of bread and then stopped to take someone’s order. While he was taking their order, a girl walked over and started making my sandwich with the dirty bread. The boy told her I want new bread because he had used dirty gloves and she rolled her eyes and walked away. He then finished taking the order and then made my sandwich with the same gloves that he took the order with. I’m sad to say I will not be back!

I hate writing this review. We discovered this place as we were heading between Utah County and St. George. We were moving so we were doing the trip pretty much every weekend. We love sourdough bread. The first trip, our sandwiches were awesome and the people were great. On our second trip, they seemed overwhelmed. For whatever reason, my sandwich was heated, and my wife’s was cold. They were the exact same sandwich. Next time, I came through by myself. I ordered a sandwich with double meat, no mayonnaise, no cheese. I got out to my car. It was regular meat with mayo and cheese. When I went back in, the girl was very nice about it, but said she just forgot. She made the sandwich. Next time, I specifically asked for it heated. When they handed it to me, it felt cold. I then reminded him it was supposed to be heated. He took it back from me, unwrapped it, and put it to the oven. The sandwich had mayonnaise, lettuce, etc. on it. I asked him if they always heat up sandwiches with lettuce. He shrugged and said, he would remake it if I wanted him to but he seemed really put out. I said never mind and just took the sandwich as it was. Heated lettuce didn’t sound great. After so many bad experiences, we gave it one last try. There were only two guys working. There were tons of people waiting. It took over 20 minutes. When I finally got my sandwich, almost everything was wrong. I gave up. I just took it and left. We will not go back. It’s heartbreaking because that first sandwich was so good. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an employee in there over the age of 20. When you have a bunch of young kids running everything, what do you expect? They have great quality food, but untrained and overwhelmed workers. Really too bad. This place was going to be our stop through every time.

I lived here in Santaquin for a while, and I haven't tried this place yet! The sandwich was delishious (Italian), and the pickle was also good! Quick and easy service, and I'm happy I gave this place to try! It's tastier than any subway could ever try to do.

One of the female employs refused to give me there number I didint appreciate the bad customer service. That’s why my review will remain at 1 star
I like the sandwiches but it seems that most of the time I come the workers on shift don’t have any customer service and they take a long while
