Kneaders Bakery & Cafe

We came in for a loaf of bread through the drive through at dinner time on a Saturday. It’s obvious there were not enough staff and the poor employees were running around trying to manage everything. We had to wait a long time before even being greeted at the window. Again, nothing against the employees but VERY POOR MANAGEMENT.

We went inside to order take out thinking it would be faster than the drive thru. Well we waited 25 minutes and watched over 8 cars go by in the drive thru before they realized I was still standing there and begin preparing our 1 combo that was $25.00. I will never go to this location again.

I pre ordered a banana cream pie and 2 pumpkin breads. When I picked up the order they were out of pumpkin bread so they gave us something else. When cutting into the banana pie on Thanksgiving the pie crust was completely raw. This is absolutely the worse service and food I have unfortunately paid for. The teenage workers said that there was a misunderstanding with the baking staff who sold all the pre ordered items. When I was there, there was several people upset about there preorderd items being missing/sold. Such an awful experience and I would not recommend this kneaders location (Saratoga springs) to anyone.

Family friendly atmosphere. There's usually a line at the order counter, but it moved quickly. They bring your food out to you which is great because you can seat yourself and chat while your meal is freshly made. Everything on the menu is delicious. I go for breakfast or lunch and occasionally pick up a beautiful dessert from the display counter.

I recently visited Kneaders in Saratoga Springs, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. We arrived at 7 PM and asked about the soups available, only to be told, “Oh, they are all cold.” When I asked why, the employee explained they were getting ready to close. I then asked what time they closed, and he said 10 PM. Three hours early to put soups away? That makes no sense.

Even if this was standard procedure, it should never have been shared with customers in such a dismissive way. The correct response would have been to simply heat up the soup and serve what we ordered, without excuses. Thankfully, after some back-and-forth and consulting with another team member (perhaps a manager), they did agree to heat the soup, but the initial attitude left a bad impression.

This experience highlighted a concerning lack of customer service. It felt like the employee didn’t care about the customer experience and assumed we’d just accept it. Customer service is a cornerstone of any successful business, and this encounter showed how far it can fall short. Hopefully, Kneaders can work on training their staff to prioritize the customer experience and resolve issues more professionally in the future.

It's difficult to find a bread in the US that isn't toast. Here we have French bread made from sourdough, which we really like. The turkey sandwich is also recommended.

Everything is ok with this Bakery, but would be perfect if they would serve gluten free items and non dairy hot & cold drinks too! It’s just an observation I would like to find there, as long I appreciate spend some time there!

This location is soooo slow! It took them 20 minutes to fulfill 4 drive thru orders. I sat in my car and waited, very frustrating. When it was my turn to pay for my order, the cashier snatched the money out of my hand with an attitude. Like she was upset that I used cash instead of a card. By the time I got home, (7 minutes away) the food was cold. :/ if you’re in a hurry, don’t come here. If you have half an hour, then you’ll have time. 😂

My sandwhich that I ordered yesterday l, the turkey and cranberry was absolutely terrible! It was so dry and had absolutely NO flavor or seasonings. $23 for a crap/dry/flavorless sandwich, a half a cup of soup and i splurged and added an éclair at the drive thru window. Éclair ld possibly go back for, the rest is garbage!! However, Scott! he's a rockstar!!!! So friendly, so nice and really made my day with his personality and smile! Don't ever stop giving that smile out! Thank you dude

I sure think it would be swell if these folx answered their phone. An online order was missing an item, and we are due a refund. I'm sure they're busy and popular, but they have phone for a reason, right?
