Customer service goes a long way when short staffed, one should remember that. Word of advice, a customers order should be handed out rather than personal conversations being had, allowing food to get cold. Will never stop again.

They DO take card if they aren't suffering a power outtage, and the place ain't filthy at all. Cleanest fast food place I've eaten at. Server was a very chill dude who explained all these 1 star reviews. After a 10 hour shift, the last thing I wanted was a disappointment for supper, and this place did not do me wrong. They gave me a beautiful mushroom single as ordered with grilled onions, an order of cheese curds, and a mountain of a root beer float. I couldn't ask for more without feeling greedy. Like the bag says: Good Times.

I have been wandering the utah mountains my whole life and never had an experience like today. Let me give some back story..
It was three days ago, beautiful day honestly, weather was great as were the views in the area. I've had a goal to complete the Utah Cutthroat slam and up here was stop number one. Traveling up the yost mountains I was so excited. I get to my campground and set up for what I think would be a fun exciting couple days. BOY WAS I WRONG! A storm hit where my campground was and destroyed everything I had, atleast I think it was a storm. It was a slightly windy day and I had gone off fishing. When I came back my car, tent, and all my belongings were destroyed and thrown all over the place. I think a bear even pooped in all of my clothes, plus my cars tires AND doors were missing. I was out of service and 30 miles from the nearest person. I decided I would try for civilization in the morning so I went to bed. I heard sounds in the dark that night but I was so delusional it could've been anything, I remember some chanting I think, maybe some music. As I woke the next day I knew I needed food and a way to get to safety. I walked all day down these mountains only to find myself in another canyon... I had no clue where I was and I was STARVING. Fast forward to the next day and I was traveling down the mountains when I ran across a man in his truck. He agreed to let me down the mountain if I helped pay for gas. Happy to oblige I agreed! BAD IDEA... we go down the mountain and he starts driving only to pull over on the side of some dirt road and forces me out of the car spouting some nonsense about a cult he read about on the news. He threatened me family!?! I was too far from anyone to call for help so I had to sleep in a drainage ditch by the road. At this point I hadn't eaten in days and haven't had anything to drink besides a mountain dew I found, opened I might add... it didn't taste good. I thought I was going to die! I had a vision that night, some might say a dream but I'd say they're wrong. My dream was full of flying cheese curds and a river of root beer, it was euphoric, I woke up in tears and not even from the mental and physical pain. I knew I needed sustenance. I prayed to all that was holy and started walking.. I could smell something delicious and I couldn't tell what it was but I let it guide me.me... 18hours later and one toe gone (don't ask) I found myself outside the most beautiful thing I've ever seen... a Sinclair A&W COMBO GAS STATION. I threw up immediately. I walk in and let me tell you, the service was incredible. Great atmosphere and great music. I sat at the northern most table and it was an angelic experience. I order the double papa spicy burger and cheese curds with some fresh, delicious, delectable homemade in store root beer. It was so good I has that meal down quicker than a right hook by Mike tyson. I can honestly say this was the best A&W meal I've had in my life. Everything was amazing, truly. The kitchen was clean as evident by their sparkling floor I could have eaten off of and the food kept that quality. Not only that but the gas station had these cool gun pocket knives (would recommend) and a frazil spinning light thing. Reminded me an angel on a hot day. I would highly recommend stopping here if you are in town or hungry or bored or have extra money. 10/10 ign

I was lost.
I was hopelessly turned around in the wilderness near Yost. No food, no water, no cell service, with out any idea where my vehicle was located.
It had been 3 days. On the 3rd day, I stumbled into a clearing with a stream running down the center. I got to my knees and drank. My thirst, quenched for the moment, but I was not fully sated.
I had to keep moving. Stumbling through the brush, eating various leaves and branches to try and find some nutrition, some source of food.
I kept this way for 4 more days. On the 7th day, a miracle happened. I spotted in the distance, a cow! A lone cow staring at me. I had to rub my eyes a few times as I could have sworn I was looking directly at a hamburger. He ran towards me, charging me! I fell to the ground, laying there as I expected this cow to trample me and end my life. To my surprise, he stopped short, right above me and started impatiently stamping his foot into the ground. I slowly stood up and held a hand out towards the beast.
Before I knew what was happening, he shoved his head between my legs and threw it backwards, launching me up onto his back in the process. He began to sprint, intent gleaming in his beautiful black eyes. (I was facing backwards, but I imagine they were.)
He ran for 2 days straight with me on his back. No food, no water, only being fueled seemingly by pure determination.
On the evening of the 2nd day, he stopped directly in front of my vehicle. How this crazy cow knew where my vehicle was, I will never know, but I will forever be grateful.
As I began the drive out, my stomach gnawing at me and my throat begging for a drink, with my eyes keeping directed straight towards the horizon, I saw something. Slowly growing in size, but a building nonetheless.
It was a combo Sinclair/A&W. I could practically hear angelic choirs singing “hallelujah” as I took the exit.
I walked in and was greeted by a fine young man, who, after seeing my sorry, pitiful state, kindly asked what I would like to order.
“Please sir… a double mushroom burger, with one soul restoring root beer please.”
He asked what side I would like, but what I heard was “I have onion rings that will have you begging for more”.
After he took my order, he pulled out a skateboard and did a sick 180 hardflip into a 50-50 nose grind on the counter as he went over to the gas station to help more poor lost souls, as I once was.
After a very short wait, my name was called out.
It echoed through the store. It was the single greatest sound I have ever heard.
I wept as I ate and drank. I had been saved.
5/5 would recommend.

Had to mark 1 star for it all as they are cash only... Sign is faded so it's clearly not something new... Excluding tons of customers because you're too cheap to use credit cards.... But your business has been cut by almost half if not more.... Bad form!

Traveling thru and was really hungry. I hadn’t been to an A&W in about 10 years. WOW was I could say when I took a bite of my juicy double bacon cheeseburger. I upgraded my fries to cheese curds and they were great too. I don’t know why I haven’t stopped in to A&W recently, but I’m definitely coming back soon.

Pleasantly surprised. The food we got was delicious. Onion rings were crisp and delicious as were the cheese curds. Then we tried our bacon cheeseburgers.... perfection. Will not hesitate to eat here again when driving through.

I stopped at Flying J next door for a break and discovered friends were also there. A nearby restaurant we hoped to visit was closed, so we went to A & W.Bailey took excellent care of us. She served our table well. The food was fresh. Onion rings were done perfectly. The hot fudge and caramel sundae was the perfect ending.
