When one goes to a restaurant, one should order the specialty of the restaurant. I think for Ranch House Diner the specialty is burgers. When we arrived there, my body was feeling the need for vegetables, so I ordered a sandwich and salad. They were okay but I think that the burgers that other people were getting were very good. We enjoyed playing with the miniature outhouse on the table while we waited for our food to arrive.

Delicious open faced roast beef sandwich and potatoes and gravy! It was so dang good!! I know I will be stopping here every time I’m passing Snowville. Comforting, home cooked food. Huge portions. Mom and I split the sandwich and we were both full.

Great, cozy atmosphere. Friendly service. It’s like a smaller version of Westside Lilo’s Cafe in Seligman, Arizona.
They are serious about their beef! Ribeye was tender and delicious. They are also serious about temperature: medium rare is definitely red in the center! Meal came with an ample salad and a hot dinner roll. I had the hand-cut fries—very generous portion. Cute room, and there’s a little gift shop attached. The 3rd generation of the family is starting to learn how to run this family business.
