This cafe rio had no sauce (red or green) to complete burrito as ordered. Evidently, no more in stock. Also, the order area needs to be cleaned.
The order signs hanging over counter are very dusty. Not a good look! Staff is very nice, though.

Every time I’m here for a pickup order I’m waiting a minimum of 20-30 minutes after the order was supposed to be ready. At least 3-4 staff are just sitting there talking and laughing doing nothing

I used to order DoorDash Cafe Rio’s pulled pork salad regularly. Lately there is maybe 1 or 2 tablespoons of meat. It’s all rice and lettuce. Will not be ordering from here again.

Good food. Great discounts. The app. Is wonderful! It's fairly quiet n easy to talk, but the chairs are noisy when ppl slide them on the tile floor.

I don’t know why I return to Cafe Rio, particularly the Riverdale location. The food quality is just not there anymore and it’s always inconsistent. Online ordering process is a mess - you will always wait 10-15 extra minutes beyond your promised pickup time, and this will occur when the regular line has 0 customers. Just save yourself and for better quality and online orders that will be served on time, and go to Costa Vida across the street.

I’ve never been so disrespected at a Cafe Rio — or honestly, at any restaurant. I’m a paying customer who completed a survey the last time I was here like I was asked to, and instead of being treated with basic decency, I was humiliated.
When I asked to redeem the code from my last visit for a drink, the cashier took my phone out of my hand and said it had to be scanned. Then they called a manager over, who immediately started speaking in Spanish behind the counter — which I understand — talking about me and accusing me of trying to scam them. She claimed I was the type of person who comes back “thousands of times” trying to get free items, all because I had a screenshot of the survey code instead of writing it down on the receipt - which I also had, but they were too busy assuming I was a scammer to ask for it. That’s not only a wild and false accusation - it’s completely unacceptable.
After digging through my phone and clearly seeing I wasn’t doing anything wrong, they reluctantly gave me a regular drink instead of the large I was promised. And while I sat there eating, the manager stood near the back, staring me down the entire time, throwing her hands up in the air and shrugging at me like I was some kind of problem. Eventually, she stormed off to the back room like a child.
I’ve never been treated so poorly for doing exactly what your company asked me to do — fill out a survey. I felt watched, profiled, talked about, and completely disrespected. This wasn’t a mistake — it was intentional and it was hostile. If this is how loyal customers get treated, I seriously have to reconsider whether I’ll come back.

Used the drive thru after working late at the mall. I ordered tortilla soup, which they were out of—instead of saying that it was out, they offered to make it fresh, and to boot served it with all the fixings! excellent service and soooooo delicious!

Thus location needs to focus on quality of what they are putting out. The ranch was overly acidic. To much citrus. My husband and myself both order beef got sweet pork. I have always loved Costa Vida, but it's not like it use to be. Please go back to making good food. The restaurant needed to be cleaned. It did look like you had just had a rush, but there should be an employee keeping up on the cleaning. All the empty tables needed to be cleaned.
