La Bonita Ice Cream Treats

I feel bad for posting a bad review but I’ve only found this place open once and everything was amazing. But we’ve been there a couple times and it’s closed when it says it’s open, I called and the lady said something like “I don’t know if my daughter will open today…” then my boyfriend called from his phone a little bit later and she said it was a wrong number.
This place should update their hours and a phone number of someone that actually works there.

I really like ice cream and the workers are very kind and patient.

We went at 12pm on a Saturday and it was closed. We called at 4 pm asking for a specific fruit and the lady was rude and hanged up on me!

They make their own ice cream and you can tell. The strawberries and cream was probably the best strawberry ice cream I've ever had. Rich strawberry flavor without being very sugary. The carmel ice cream was also incredibly good. Service was awesome as well. Very friendly and helped me feel instantly comfortable.

The best paletas in Ogden! So many flavors to choose from and always refreshing.

I have been wanting to try this place out forever and I'm honestly disappointed. Everything was made fresh for the most part. We got a large strawberry agua fresca and a large snowcone.

Food wise, from the two items, it wasn't the greatest. The aqua fresca was good, just minimal. It was a few strawberries, with a few bottles of water and a sweetener I'm assuming blended up. My salvadoran husband says it tastes more like a smoothie, which I agree, but it was still good. Seemed a bit pricey for the minimal ingredients though.
My biggest issue was the snowcone. I don't know if it was the cream or the ice machine not being rinsed thoroughly but something tasted a lot like cleaning chemicals. I thought it was the syrups but I got two flavors and they both tasted like chemicals; and by that I mean that's all I can taste. I took a few sips and have instantly felt sick. Like I said, I don't know if it was just a mistake with cleaning, things happen, but that can be dangerous.

The atmosphere was good, it is small but it's a nice little place. It seems clean but there is no public bathroom. That wasn't a problem for me this time but if you bring in your small kids that still wear diapers or just need somewhere to go, it's probably not the place to sit in and stay. I got our order to go.

The woman that helped me was super nice, again everything was done to order.

I'm not bashing this business, just wanting to give my honest experience. Hopefully it was just a one time thing with the snowcones but if it tastes off, I'd probably toss it like I did just in case.

It's such a cute shop! The ice cream is definitely home made. It tastes so good! The frozen fruit bars were really good too! I 100% recommend this place. Better than any ice cream parlor I've been to

Me and my wife have been coming here for years.
The best in all of Utah! Customer service is awesome! Best Mangonadas and ice cream hands down. They deserve more recognition. God Bless you guys ??
