Was passing through and love to see local businesses thriving. Stopped for a chocolate and salted caramel macaroon and was easily the best thing I’ve put in my mouth in a while. Such a sweet woman who owns the store, would have tried everything she bakes if my stomach allowed! 10/10 recommend

If I could give 100 ⭐️ I would! I cannot express enough how incredibly happy we are with Lovee’s Cakes and the fantastic job they did for my daughter’s wedding!!! We ordered a small cake for the couple to cut and 4 dozen cupcakes for the 45 guests. I should have ordered 2-3 dozen more, because everyone wanted seconds. All the guests just raved over the cupcakes!! I highly recommend the Cookie Butter, Dulce De Leche, Strawberries & Cream and the Blackberries & Cream, however, anything that comes from Lovee’s Cakes, you will NOT be disappointed!! The owner and her daughter were absolutely delightful to work with!! Thank you, Debbie, for the BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS cakes!!! You are definitely a “cut above” the rest!!!

We had the absolute best experience with Lovee’s Cakes! They made our wedding cake, and not only was it stunning, but it was absolutely delicious. The staff is so friendly and kind, and you can tell it’s truly a family-owned and operated business that cares about their customers. We loved getting to do a cake tasting—honestly, it was hard to choose because every flavor was incredible! Since then, we’ve gone back several times for cupcakes, and they’ve all been amazing. We’re planning to make it a tradition to go back every year for our anniversary, and to grab cupcakes for our birthdays, too. Highly recommend!

Best lemon bars I've ever had in my WHOLE LIFE. The base is like a shortbread cookie with perfectly tart lemon curd, and the portions are huge. Love this place, the service is always great. A total gem in the Layton area!

Deb is a phenomenal cake maker. We had a wedding cake cancellation from another baker on very short notice and we called Deb to see of she could make our cakes for us in less than two weeks notice. Her flavor options were unique and she gave us four flavor samples of our choice within the same week and all of them were outstanding. Upon pickup the cakes were well decorated and our guests loved the flavors. 5 stars!

Could not recommend enough!!!! Made an amazing, beautiful cake for our wedding day. Had a great tasting. Their store atmoesphere was so welcoming and homie, and they were very informative. Answered all out questions through calls and email (and also was very patient with our lack of cake knowledge). Was reasonably priced, and even put the cake in a box with dry ice to keep it cold during our ceremony. Will be going to them for sweets and cakes for the foreseeable future.

Just driving by we noticed this new sweets/desserts small local business. I love me some sweets so we decided to stop by since their open sign was on. As soon as we walked in one of the owners introduced himself and shook our hands. He was very nice and you could tell he and his wife are very proud of their desserts. He showed us all the desserts and answered all of our questions.
Sadly they had no cinnamon rolls (my all time favorite dessert..def will stop by to try one when they have some fresh) so my daughter got 3 macaroons, the wife got a peanut butter bar, I got a cannoli and we bought a pack of potato chip cookies. I was a little hesitant on the potato chip cookies but oh my they were amazing. They are not overly salty and the texture and thickness was perfect. These potato chip cookies are delicious. My daughter ate all of her macarons and said they were all really yummy. The wife devoured her peanut butter bar and said that was the best peanut butter bar she has ever had. It was not dry and was very yummy. I got to try a small piece of it and it was very delicious. I have yet to try my cannoli but I’m sure it’s going to be amazing.
We definitely will be returning to try the many cookie flavors and cupcakes! Also will share with friends and family about this local business.
Suggestion - The website is not user friendly. Many broken links, navigation is broken, advertises only wedding cakes and cupcakes orders but no mention of single desserts or any menu of the desserts offered in store. Also the hours are different shown on online.
