Napoli's Italian Restaurant

Honestly, the food at this place is great. Do not order a pickup order here unless you want to wait an hour past the pick up time. After we had waited an hour we received the wrong order. After bringing it to their attention they still forgot stuff in the order. They should stop offering pick up service if they can’t keep up with it. This has happened twice since ordering a pickup order. Very disappointing.

It's a nice little restaurant, great atmosphere. The table rolls are tasteless, and rely incredibly heavily on the oil and balsamic they bring to the table, but the entrees are fantastic. Recommend the manicotti.

Visiting the Layton/Ogden area again.
Wanted to visit here but didn't have time.
This place was a very nice and cozy Italian eatery. Though it was a little bit of a wait to get seated, the staff was very friendly.

Once we got seated, everything on the menu sounded delicious. I decided to go with the Pasta Combo. Comes with baked ziti, lasagna, a cheese ravioli, and a cheese manicotti.
Of course I also saw a scapoloni and had to get that as well.

For an app we decided to go with their caprese salas.
Salads were nice and fresh. The bread was soft, warm, and such a delight.
The caprese salad was OK. It was kind of a deconstructed salad. They split the olives and stuff diced tomatoes into it.
The fresh mozzarella was divine. But unfortunately, fell short of expectations.

Now the Pasta. The scarparelli was delicious. Noodles cooked to perfection and the sauce was a well balanced red sauce. The mix of meats and veggies was perfect.

The Pasta Combo feel short of expectations as well. The giant mass of pasta had all the same flavors and honestly, it was all the same. Just different pastas.
Pasta was cooked perfectly, but there really was no separation of each one. I actually didn't find the ravioli until the very end. I guess if you want to play treasure hunt for a ravioli, then it's a fun dish to try.

Besides that, the flavor of the red sauce was still very good. Fresh melted mozzarella and it was still quite good.

Staff was incredibly friendly and made the meal feel more homely.

Overall, it was fantastic. There are many other dishes I'd like to try out, so I will definitely return the next time I come back!!

If only I could give zero stars. Where to begin: the staff is rude. The food is bland and watered down. There are very minimal bites of mushroom in my order. The sauce seemed like it was packaged and runny. The pasta dishes seemed like they were delivered from a frozen food truck. The place is on the corner of a strip mall and it smells like sewage as you approach and leave and in their restrooms. No bleach buckets. Food took so long and they actually said they’d cancel
I’ve reservation as opposed to seating I’ve party because everyone hadn’t yet arrived. Thank us for coming, seat us, start the table so you can turn it and earn our business. Serve us correct portions with flavor and make sure it’s hot. Wipe the tables and have informed and polite staff. I’ve managed four restaurants and will never come back nor recommend this place. Please don’t go to this establishment it’s overpriced and unwelcoming.

The biggest thing that kills any visit to a restaurant is bad customer service, and well that is what I had. The server was not very attentive and too busy having conversations in the back, while the food was just ok I had to send it back because the veal was so overcooked like jerky. We did not receive an apology or some sort of make it up to you service. The best part was the tiramisu and the pasta. Tasted fresh it was delicious. I have mix feeling on this restaurant.

Let me tell you, this was the best Italian food restaurant I’ve ever been. The interior had a nice ambiance and slow jazz music playing not too loud, but not too quiet. The rolls were DEVINE with the balsamic oil dip too. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone. For two meals it was very affordable for the experience and food! Our waitress was very kind too! 10/10

My husband and I went a little bit early and got seated right away. The waitress also was there right away. We ordered bruschetta as our appetizer and it was so good, it could have been my main course it was so good. The bread was toasted just right, soft in the middle and crunchy on the outside. The tomatoes with the Kalamata olives and onion with the feta was so delicious. I ordered the salmon piccata it was very very good the sauce was light, not too heavy which is what I like in a piccata. My husband enjoyed his veal parmigiana. The only thing missing was having a pepper grinder on the table I really like my pepper.

This is a really good place the food is delicious and I liked it but the service is kinda bad my family waited for 15 or more for our first refills and it wasn't even full and then the server got a drink wrong after I said coke and I got a Dr Pepper so it's a good place but the service is a bit shitty

We live in Riverdale and have been couple of times. The food is good, but really overpriced in my opinion. However, they always seem to be busy so others must think it’s worth it-we don’t. We have gone 3 times to try and give the local place a chance, but won’t go again because it just isn’t worth the price.
