The food has always been really good here but tonight I had my first bad experience! We ordered sweet and sour shrimp and they had the shell and tails on them still. I can understand the tails cuz that’s how my dad a Japanese man would cook and eat them. But when we called just to ask if it was normal or to let them know they had an order go wrong we were told that we were lying and it was just impossible. Well it wasn’t we had to take the breading off each shrimp and remove the shell before eating. We weren’t trying to get anything free we ate there once a week atleast but I’m very sour about how the lady handled that. So won’t be going back and that’s really a shame. Oh ya and just watch when doing take out cuz right when you sign with a card if you don’t pay attention the tip that’s added right off the bat is the 20%. Which is fine but it should give you the option especially for take out to choose not default to paying 20% in my option.

We enjoy the food and have ordered many times from the South Ogden location. Service has always been good until this afternoon. (Wednesday) The waitress had an attitude problem while taking the take out order (in person). Her attitude was curt, no smile, rude and seemed very annoyed to take the order. Perhaps this is not the type of job for her, or maybe she needs more training in appropriate customer service. It was not a pleasant experience.

Edit: A month after our first review, we tried again. April was pleasant when we ordered take out in person, and very accommodating. So much better than the last waitress!

Usually frequent a nearby competitor but thought I’d give this place a try. Friendly take out service workers. For the price though, was thoroughly disappointed in the portion. Food was meh. Ham fried rice was severely lacking. Szechwan chicken wasn’t anything special. Will be returning back to my regular place going forward.

August 28th 2024, we ordered lunch to go L1 and they let me exchange ham for chicken on the egg Foo Yong. But the gravy on top was so... delicious the best we ever have had! Highly recommend it ?

The young man that took my order was very confusing he kept asking if I wanted the white rice that I thought came free with my order of Szechuan shrimp ISO I kept saying yes then I order butterfly shrimp and he kept asking if wanted ketchup and mustard. And I kept asking if he meant the hot mustard he would say yes and I said yes but I don’t understand why he kept asking. They did charge be for the rice.
They also charged me more for using my credit card. I think they must not be making enough money and want to charge more. Unhappy customer ?

We were pretty disappointed when we opened our dinner boxes at home and saw this. We got the chicken chow mein and sweet and sour pork combination plate to go.

We were expecting chow mein noodles and instead got what looked like watery cabbage soup. It has zero noodles and in all my years of eating chinese food nothing like this has ever been presented when ordering chow mein. We feel cat fished. ??‍♀️

Today was worst service and food we ever had. We entered and no one around. Rang the bell after a wait. Young man sat us, brought us water and a drink. Placed our order. The waitress brought our soup. The young man brought our main dish. The waitress sat at front wrapping Won Tons by hand with no gloves. Foo Yung was burned. Told the waitress, she just sat and stared. The young man came and took it to the kitchen for new.
Basically, food was not good. Service poor, and didn't eat the Won Tons. We go there on an average of 3 times a month. This visit was our last.
