I quit going to Cafe Rio a long time ago because they're food quality has gone downhill and their portion sizes and I started going to costa vida instead but now it looks as though I will not be going to Costa Vida anymore either. I ordered through door dash and I ordered a side of rice (which I did not get but paid for it) Their rice was crunchy (one of the reasons I stopped going to Cafe Rio) and their portion sizes were ridiculous. They literally gave me about the size of a half dollar portion of rice. I do not consider that an acceptable portion of rice. It was same with the beans and the lettuce. I should have just ordered ala carte and skipped the rice and beans and lettuce altogether. Their meat portions have also become ridiculously small. I won't be ordering from Costa Vida again. I'm going to start making my own Costa Vida/Cafe Rio food and do my own pulled pork. I have the recipes.. Done with these rip off establishments.

I love Costa Vida and have never had a bad experience with them until today. However, after placing an Uber Eats order for a small shrimp salad it came with only three shrimp and very watery. The flavor was fine, but considering shrimp is $3.15, that is over $1 per shrimp.

What can I tell you when you eat delicious food in a place, everything is phenomenal and the horchata water is delicious.

Joseph P was extremely helpful. I had to wait a little for my tortilla, but Joseph P made sure I got my chicken quesadilla
They serve great food and the restraint is clean. They are friendly and professional. They are all very clean. The only downside is there are a few workers who when making the food really skimp of ingredients. They usually add much smaller portion sizes than the other employees and store locations I have been to.
After driving before the store closed to being told I wouldn't be served because they were now close it's been 15 minutes waiting with promise of service shortly only to be told they are closed and will not help me what a crappy way to treat someone whoever owns the store should be really embarrassed. I would just also like to make you wear your employees are costing you money ??????????
New honey shrimp is tasteless and not worth ordering. Looked wonderful in the pictures but was just shrimp in a soft taco. Everything is bland and flat. Really wanted to recommend but I can’t.
