Solid Mongolian barbecue. I especially liked the Thai options (lay it heavy with the coconut cream). Don't go with the Brussel sprouts, stir fry is not the way to go with cooking them (you should slow bake them at home, preferably with bacon). They cook the food fast enough, I went there late afternoon and there wasn't really. A line initially. Some more groups came and they brought out more cooks; then it was a bit of a wait, but not longer than 2-3 minutes to completely get through the line.Decent price for a buffet as well. There are also a few pokemon go pokestops. Bonus points ??
Vegetarian options: They've got a decent selection of veggies to go with the noodles and sauces. Me, I like meat but they do have it.
Parking: Ajoined with a larger shopping complex, lots of parking.

Our server Chelsea was outstanding. She told my son and I everything we needed to know and got our drinks before we sat down. We’re super happy we came here! And ask for Chelsea if you come here- she’ll take care of you!
Kid-friendliness: Options for kids are great!

I've always really enjoyed the Mongolian Grill. HuHot stands above all of the other (similarly ran) Mongolian BBQs in the area for one really substantial reason, in my opinion. The quality of the raw foods that you are allowed to decide from, before sending to the big metal bowl. Whenever my kids join me to HuHot, try as they might, can't seem to hide their excitement as the raw food is put on the grill and given the chef's full undivided attention. It's always better than remembered. (If I remember it correctly) Do yourself a favor, give yourself a treat. Go have lunch at HuHot Mongolian Grill.

This review reflects this location only. The one I'm Orem/Lindon was 5 star all around. I rarely will.give a negative review like this as I believe in building businesses up especially if they deserve it! However, this review I'm sad to say won't be the best. I hope the owners see it and make some changes. If they do I will gladly update the review.I was really surprised at the stark contrast in the lack of service, cleanliness, food quality and atmosphere at this location.Service - We were rushed. Given our check 20 minutes after sitting. I had barely finished getting my food heated up (the first bowl) and visit 5 min after sitting down with my wife and two kids. It was my birthday, so I had to ask them to please re do the bill as I had a free all you can eat. We were lucky to have our plates cleared once. We were asked to keep our dirty forks. We asked forextra napkins and was denied. So, I simply went and got our own napkins and clean forks when needed from other tables. Our waters got refilled once. Mine didn't get a refill at all.Second, their were countless items OUT at their buffet. I asked for basic noodles (which was their number one item most people like.) As it was 100% gone stih some scraps. I was advised that they were out when I asked for a refill.Well 15 minutes later about 10 or other people came in and refilled the noodles and the beef, the onions, etc.We were not asked if we wanted dessert, etc.Keep in mind they did not close for another 5 hours.I got the feeling employees weren't trained enough or paid enough despite the crazy hi prices for sub par food 1/3 of which was not available.CLEANLINESS /ATMOSPHERE- Absolutely terrible from the silver wear, the tables, menus were all sticky and just nasty. The buffet all menus explaining the different types of foods and sauces were splattered with food! Keeping in mind they were head level of someone 6 feet tall. It was as if kids had food fights there. It was just a Grundy atmosphere all around. The chairs had rips in them in the booth. It was just bad.FOOD QUALITY - I went back twice and the second time the meet was not cooked. Infact it was BAD AND OLD. I had to spit it out. I asked my wife to try in case my taste buds were off.The pricing for HuHot's food at this location was unneceptable. It was dated and just old and under cooked. The atmosphere was dank.It shows that this location was "under new management" on the signs out side. Well, I hope you can take some courses on how to handle food and make this franchise location prouf and clean like the others I have been too.Until then I will not be upping my review.I would not recommend anyone eats here until the problems listed above are fixed. That's not an unreasonable task.
Dietary restrictions: They claim to have gluten free options at the buffet, but this is a lie. To be truly gluten free at a buffet you MUST have your gluten free in a totally SEPERATE location as all other food. It also must be prepared with completely separately from the other food using totally different utensils, pots and pans. This prevents cross contamination.

This is our family’s favorite place to get together for its wide range of vegan, vegetarian and meat lover options. We came during the lunch rush and the place was bustling with almost every table full. Our waiter, Alex was running from table to table but still made time to be kind and attentive. It was impressive he was able to keep up with the 30 tables he was covering and keep everything straight. Great food and great service.
I go here all the time, they have super nice people and really good food. You pick out your own ingredients as well, so there is always something to like and lots of different combinations to try. Their sauce bar is also top-notch, with different spice levels as well as different flavors you can mix and match.

All you can eat with some serious potential. This place is tasty and a fair price. They for some reason don't oil the stovetop and they add the sauce right away, this combination leaves you with burnt food that retains about 10% of the flavor from the sauce. Ive been to 3 different Huhots and they all do this. It completely baffles me that they never fail to burn the food when it is such a simple fix. But honestly, I still enjoy it.

This food is not worth the money. For being an all you can eat with only grill option does not make the best all you can eat resturant. The host asked us for drinks but didnt even let us finish our sentence before walking away and then brought us the wrong drink, because they decided to just choose which soda for the float instead of just coming to ask us what we wanted. The staff was friendly for the most part, but we barely saw them the whole time we were there. We had to wait until we were practically done with our food for them to come and tell them the drink was wrong and for them to get us the correct drink. After waiting in the line for the chef to cook our food for a while, the food wasn't even cooked all the way through and wasn't even very good. The waitress had spilled a ton of food right in front of our booth and never even came to pick it up, and we had to avoid it while getting out of the booth. They don't have regulations of nets or anything for the cooks, and one had hair covering his face that could easily be in someone's food, doesn't seem very sanitary. Disappointing experience, and we won't ever be back. Big waste of my money and time.

Amy and Alex killed it today! We went for lunch and they were the only ones working. There was a crazy lunch rush. Amy was the only one on the grill and she kid an amazing job getting through the line of food. Alex was the only one on the floor. He stayed calm and collected and made sure everyone was taken care of. Our drinks never ran out. Very happy with our visit.

05 Sept 2023 - 4.6 StarsFirst time at this location. In Washington State, in my hometown and other cities, I go to this type of restaurant regularly. New places offer new things. I was surprised (not in a bad way) by some of the difference.1) I'm used to having a selection of three different sizes of bowls to choose from at the start of the line. The smallest is 6+ times larger than the bowl here. The next two bowls are each larger than the previous sizes. You get ONE trip down the buffet line to filling the bowl with ingredients, then at the end, you pile the bowl over the brim (up high) with longer noodles that stay in place as you creat a tall pyramid.2) I liked the idea of all you can eat and the ability to try many different combinations. However, the family members I was with, all who had been here before, grabbed 2 or 3 bowls to start with since they already knew what they wanted to create. The cooks then simply just mixed all the bowls together on the grill to create one plate of food. As someone who, at home, had developed maybe 3 or 4 different combinations that I like, and now create those whenever I go in, I end up doing the same thing my family did, but with a bigger bowl and just one trip down the line.3) At home, since they are NOT all-you-can-eat, the prices are less, even for the largest bowl you can select from. The largest bowl will feed me completely at the time I go, plus 1 (maybe 2) more meals when I go home as you take your "leftovers" with you.4) This location had twice the number of items on the buffet line I'm used to also, 4x the number of sauces to select from. I also liked the charts that went with the sauces to "create" different flavors. At home, the sauces (and charts) only have to do with "heat/spiciness" levels.5) The staff suggested getting "twice" the number of sauces as listed on the charts, "unless you like your noodles dry." I did as suggested and ended up with noodles swimming in sauce, as compared to home where the noodles and ingredients are moist but having a flavored Asian "sticky" costing rather than a pool of liquid. I think if I had followed the chart, I would have ended up with a sauce / flavor / texture more to what I was expecting, used to.6) At home, there is no menu of "other items to purchase," such as appetizer, dessert, etc. I found that nice. The meals at home do come with a bowl of rice and a cup of soup, in addition to the dish you create.7) I found the staff very friendly and helpful at the table when we were eating. At home, the main thing (almost the only thing) they do is keep your drink full.NOTE: In my pictures, you do not see many people in the restaurant. Do not let that fool you. I waited until it was pretty empty to take the pictures, as most people do not me taking their photo.

Always good food at Hu Hot. Love the variety, and the chance to customize the flavors so it’s a different plate each time.
