We went here because we called ahead and asked if they had gluten free food and they said yes a lot of it’s gluten free. When we got there they said the only thing I could get was the salad. I ordered the salad and it was truly the worst salad I’ve had in my life. It was shredded lettuce and cotijia cheese. They chicken they added to it was undercooked and all fatty. We sent it back it was so bad and they still charged us for it. Do not recommend. Will never go again.

Okay so honest review time. We have gluten free requirements in our family due to celiac. I always call ahead and ask about a gluten free menu and gluten free options. They said we don’t have a gluten free menu but lots of things can be made gluten free. Generally speaking that means that more than the side salad can be made gluten free but not in this case. We sat down asked the waiter and after back and forth with the chef the side salad was the only thing she could eat. Okay fine, add chicken and it’s a meal right? Not ideal but we roll. Chicken was quite rubbery and was either undercooked or overcooked. Had to send the salad back 85% uneaten. I’m not the kind of person to demand I don’t get charged for a meal like this. I like to roll the dice with the customer service to see if they own up. They did not. Got the ticket fully charged for it.

I paid and they paid. We both paid! Me for the food, them for this review. My guess is that they paid more.

Atmosphere was nice though. Had our own booth and with 3 small kids that’s nice.

Chips and salsa: OK
Guacamole: meh
Gluten free food: -10
The chips and salsa and good kids food options were why we bumped a star. I wish them the best and hope they take constructive criticism and make it happen!

Came here a few months back with my partner and the food was very salty. Not only that they messed up our food the first time and when they remade it for us they messed it up again and forgot to add the meat in my partners burrito.

My family and I went to this restaurant recently. The lady who served us was polite, but the service overall was lacking.

This restaurant was a recommendation from a friend, so we were excited to try for the first time! The place was empty and that was a concern for me. We ordered their pineapple fajita, which was a suggestion from our friend. We also ordered a ceviche, and a mojarra frita, which is my daughter’s favorite Mexican dish.

They first served us a small cup of soup, which I personally didn’t care for it and could not figure out what was in it. Then the meal came, except that they never added the rice and beans to my daughter’s dish, until I had to ask. Not good, specially when the restaurant is empty. The pineapple fajita was awful. It was probably the worst fajita I had in a long time. They seem to serve a very cheap quality beef, which was cut in big chunks, and it was definitely the toughest chunk of meat I ever ate. Even trying to cut with a knife was a challenge. The chicken didn’t taste fresh either. Even my husband who is a bit more forgiving when trying new places didn’t like the pineapple fajita, which they charge R$35.00 dollars for it.

My daughter’s mojarra frita was bland, lacking in flavor and her rice and beans came too late after she was already a bit disappointed with the dish. Her ceviche, which is another of her favorite Mexican dishes, did not have the familiar flavors she normally enjoys on a ceviche, and it was a big mess to eat! In the end, we left the restaurant hungry, and had to stop at a Taco Bell place to make sure we were not heading back home still hungry!

So, I cannot say that I would be able to recommend this place. We live in Mapleton and have tried to find good Mexican places to eat closer to home, but this restaurant didn’t make it to the list!

I got a chili relleno and the loaded french fries with chicken. Both were absolutely amazing. Those fries were incredibly stacked! I'm not in Spanish Fork often, but I'll definitely make it a point to come here again when I am.

Better than your typical sit down Mexican restaurant! You can tell the salsa is homemade as well as most of the ingredients in their food. Portions are HUGE too! Honestly I don’t get the people leaving bad reviews, this place is a much better experience than any other Mexican restaurant in Utah!!

We have always really enjoyed this restaurant, both the service and the food. However, recently we have had some bad experiences. Twice we have ordered to go, and when we arrived home we found that food we ordered and paid for did not get put into our bag. We live outside of town so it is not convenient to return. Unfortunately this has made us feel that we will not return.

The waiter was very friendly but unfortunately the food herd was less than mediocre. Pretty disgusting actually. I ordered The two cheese enchiladas plate with Beans and rice. The enchiladas were EMPTY, sauce on top with somd sprinkled cheese in top! Beans were dry and rice had zero flavor. My husband ordered a shredded beef chimichanga and said it was just ok. Very disappointing for our very first and very last time eating at this restaurant. Im actually sad to be writing this review because we ALWAYS look forward to our Friday night mexican food nights. On top of everything thd prices are definitely higher than most places. Which would be ok if the food was actually good.
