Couldn’t be happier to have spent some time here relaxing after a hike. You’ll spend less than the grab and go counter downstairs and you’ll have the most stunning view as well. Staff were super friendly and loved going above and beyond.
It’s also a halfway point on the shuttle so we used it as a base quite frequently to not have to go all the way back to the car at the visitor center.

Me and my friend stayed at the lodge and had eaten there for 3 times, 2 breakfasts and 1 lunch. We had 2 unpleasant experiences with seating arrangement.
We came for lunch on Feb 27th around 1pm, a petite skinny lady helped us. It was a nice day, the outdoor seatings were all taken and we said it’s ok to seat inside since we can use some AC after climbing mountains for 5 hours. Except us, there was only 1 table inside which was occupied. We were asked to seat on a table which is right beside the door and the chair was kinda on the way. So we kindly asked her if we are able to seat two tables away (the table beside was occupied) which is the middle table right beside the window, so we won’t be bothered with people coming in and out of the patio constantly. Her answer was no, we literally did not understand why, so we explained our reason…. She said “I would prefer you to seat here” cuz “I did not want to overwhelm my colleague…… “ we until this day still don’t understand what her reason was, the 2 tables were literally 1 meter apart from each other.
Then it comes to the second day Feb 28th for breakfast, we came in and it was not busy at all, we waited a bit and didn’t see anyone, we walked about 3 meters and waved at someone who looks like a staff member and she seated us. 3 minutes later while we were chatting, a yonge male (skinny) server came right at us and said, “you need to wait to be seated” We said to him that we did, your colleague seated us. He said again “next time you need to wait!” and his colleague heard us and confirmed to him that she did seat us. He turned to us again and repeated himself that next time we need to wait to be seated. At this point, we wanted to laugh. I have been to many countries and many place in the states, this restaurant is legit by far the most ridiculous one when treating their client over seating arrangement. We are respectful people and dealt with them with manner. They need to understand that we are going to the restaurant to eat not to take their attitude. With 2 incidences like this back to back, I am certain that they need to do better with training or hire someone who actually likes their job.
The others waiters and waitress were great.

Good food and convenient after a hike or especially if you are staying at the Zion Lodge. We ate there 3 times for dinner and everything was great - rotating vegetarian pasta, salmon on special, sandwiches and fries. Easy walk from the Zion Lodge cabins, friendly staff, seems they do prefer you make a reservation, we were there in the off season.
We ate here for three nights, because each time we were left wanting to try more off the menu. They have a chef special and a special vegetarian option and we were surprised and impressed that the dish changed every night! And it was delicious. The last night we had a duck and farro dish that was just fantastic-- rich, tender, not gamey or grainy at all, and with a wonderful balsamic sauce. We ordered the salmon dip appetizer for the first two nights and they pre-emptively fired up a salmon dip on the third night for us before we ordered. We threw them a curveball by ordering a different app, so they gave us the salmon on the house, which was sooo generous and thoughtful. A wonderful experience with great food and drinks!

Amazing service. We had a group of 10 and kept coming back every night due to delicious food and drinks and service. Most of us got the specials and every day was different and FANTASTIC. Myself and a friend are still raving about how good the duck was. Highly recommend especially if you're staying at the lodge.

We ate at the Red Rock Grill every night during our 3 day stay at Zion's lodge. Each night we were taken so well cared of, staff was so friendly and food was incredible at the price point. The specials were different every night and they were all top notch. We made reservations each night as we had a party of 10 and our table was always ready for us when we arrived. Thanks for having us!

Disgusting food. Worst service. Takes forever to get your food and there weee very few people there. The host was horrific. He told us we could not sit outside because the servers were overloaded. There were 8 empty tables outside only 6 taken. Then he sat the next two tables after us outside….

Stay away from the breakfast, food is not fresh, pancakes are probably from yesterday, fruit is empty at 8:30 and no one cared to refill, table service is next to nothing, everybody expect the receptionist guy acted like they don’t give a thing about you, “just pay the tip and don’t ask anything” kind of vibe. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel uncomfortable and hate eating outside.

We had lunch outside on their deck one day and also dinner the night before. Lunch was good and 4 star. Dinner was good to ok at about 3.5. but location was great, especially if you're staying at the lodge or need a lunch break after hiking nearby. Black Bean Burger and chicken white bean chili was very good. We did have a brief wait for outdoor table at lunch. Lunch was definitely the better choice.

Waitress Chanchanok was very attentive and especially cautious with a food allergy. The kitchen staff cooked food to order. They even double checked ingredients in a sauce we thought was ok. This has been the best service we have had on our 2 week trip. Keep up the good work!

We had a nice meal. Not gourmet, but solid. Our server, Matthew, was terrific. The view was great from our table at the window, bringing the rating to a 5. Come when the temperature is right for you and sit out on the patio. Don't let the negative reviews dissuade you; this is a nice way to take advantage of Zion Lodge.

We had two dinners and a breakfast here that were all decent to wonderful. While the menu is a little limited there are salads, entrees of fish, chiken, beef and pork and a vegetarian option...so there should be something for everyone. Large portions so you don't leave hungry. Only complaint would be I wish they had more than just buffet for breakfast but I get it.
A good place for a bite to eat inside Zion Canyon. Pretty views of the canyon if you're lucky enough to get a table by the window, otherwise a regular sit-down restaurant experience. Service was good and on an October Friday at noon the place wasn't too busy. Great coffee cocktail to go with the yummy quinoa bowl - add chicken for a protein boost after your hike!

Went with my service dog waiting for full moon to rise. Wanted a beer, told I have to order a food item, but its a national park so why does state law affect me? Told them I don't want greasy salty food, got the seasonal veggies. Greasy and salty. Also was in the corner in a lounge area that had a baseball game everyone was apparently obsessed with on staff so frequently people were peeking at the TV above me which was really awkward and weird.

I’m a local in Springdale and felt like I was enjoying a meal on vacation. The food excellent as was the service, and you can’t beat the views of being immersed in Zion.
