Great location within the Zion National Park Lodge to grab a bite to eat while you’re enjoying your day at the park. Food was average. They do serve alcohol!

Convenient if you stay at the lodge and only place to dine in the park. Prices are reasonable but everything else goes downhill. Food served at breakfast was good but dinners were just ok. Don’t order salmon cakes as deep fried to a crisp. The server’s response was that is the way they’re served? I ate 2 of 3 after taking off the burnt coating. At end of meal, Peggy-server, offered me a free dessert as she knew I did not enjoy the meal. Really appreciated this gesture and the chocolate cake is delicious!
You will have long waits to be seated, to order, for food to be served and even to get your bill. Always short staffed and some servers really running to attempt to keep up.
Worst thing is stairway leading to restaurant- carpet is FILTHY dirty and never vacuumed in 3 days. Cobwebs cover the stair lights.

I arrived around 6 pm and tried to get some food here, and was told I have to wait until 7:45 pm if I don't have a reservation, while there were literally less than 5 people in there. Pretty ridiculous.

Dinner with reservation.
We ate a delicious meal: home cooking. Grilled chicken with excellent mashed potatoes and fresh zucchini
Good beer too.

Best place to eat in Zion. Great service from all of the people who work there. Yes, food is not a 5 star, but it worth for price, especially in the national park. We really tried to go there in the dinner time, but shuttle is not working at night and you are not allowed to drive there with your car. So, dinner is option only for hotel residents or you need to hike to your campground

Food was comparable to Denny’s and priced similarly (average overall). The view and ambience was really great. However, the experience was soured by lackluster service and an encounter with another staff member who was incredibly grumpy and rude. Good stop for a post-hike drink, I’d probably skip the food.

Beautiful spot. Our food was good to very good, the view is fantastic and we had one great server, Talitha! The manager was also efficient, attentive and pleasant!

I went for lunch after hiking and was pretty disappointed. They are definitely under-staffed, having parties wait to be seated to stagger even though lots of empty tables. Best part of the experience was our server who was super friendly and cool. Food was below average. The “Navajo fry bread” is a taco shell used for taco salads - not authentic at all. Then there was a conflict between servers or between a server and the manager that was public which felt unprofessional. I felt bad for the servers who just seemed burned out. Felt sad given this is the only full service restaurant in the park and in a spectacular setting. Such a missed opportunity.

Absolutely beautiful place, the service was lacking, and the food was pretty average. But definitely worth the stop to have a beer with this view

We had dinner here after a hiking day. The menu was not particularly creative, but the food was fresh and portions generous. The local beers are excellent though and the service very friendly

Not as tasty as how I remember pre-Covid, but the food was still nice enough and did the job. I just hope they will continue improving the food as the steak someone ordered in my group was quite a poor cut of meat, compared to the quality you would expect given the location and price. 2 members of my party also found the rice quite hard/weirdly crunchy and almost inedible. Likewise, the vegetarian options whilst tasty were very limited (2 salads and one burger) and it was a bit annoying that there weren't any vegetable and mashed potato type dishes (ie if ordering the chicken or steak, you can get 2 sides, but if ordering the veggie burger you can only get one of the sides). Flies were also everywhere; I appreciate that is probably due to the location which can't be helped but it did make for a slightly frustrating eating environment at times. The service was very good though and I would eat here again, just hoping the restaurant changes positively instead of negatively in the future.

Vegetarian options: The vegetarian offerings were delicious but very limited. I understand they may not be super popular, but even if possibilities of adapting meat-based dishes to similar vegetarian alternatives (eg a bean patty instead of chicken in the chicken dish), that would go a long way.

The food was bad and the service was worse. I was so excited to get a Naho taco. It turned out to be a tostada. The drink I ordered was pure grenadine. I don’t think it even had alcohol in it and so it hurt my teeth the cobbler we ordered for dessert Had two slices of fruit and the rest was some form of a bread pudding. Our server would disappear for long periods and then show up to tell us she was working on our order when the manager came over having noticed we were not eating the dessert and asked about our experience, he told us our server should have told us more about the Navajo taco and did nothing about the fact we did not eat. The dessert spent over $100 on a meal that was subpar with terrible service so I guess I was paying for the View.

These people wouldnt let us sit at a table for two when there were open tables available & were only taking reservations. For the money i paid for the zion lodge youd think they’d accommodate.
