Food excellent. Service was average was expecting a little better quality considering price.
Let me start off by saying our server JT was fantastic! Definitely five stars for his service. He was so friendly and attentive all evening. He was very warm and welcoming. On to our meal. We have been to this restaurant several times and have always been satisfied with our meal. Unfortunately we were disappointed last night with our meal. My husband had the pan seared chicken with polenta and steamed spinach. The chicken had good flavor but was dried out. The French onion soup was very tasty. The clam chowder was disappointing as it had very little flavor. I ordered the wagyu filet, and it was seasoned perfectly, not tender at all and very chewy. Disappointed to say the least.
Ate at the bar as a single. Had three appetizers for dinner; all were excellent. Bartender and restaurant wait staff servers were all attentive and friendly.
This was an amazing meal from my Espresso Martini to the end. We started with splitting the beet salad which was delicious. We both chose the Columbian Trout for dinner and added a side baked potato...just because! Outstanding meal!
Definitely blew my expectations out of the water. Came here to celebrate my 1 year wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. The food tasted amazing, the ambience was stellar, but the piece de resistance was our server, JT. He made our night special and unforgettable. S/O to him!
My husband and I ate at the Switchback Grill for our 33rd Wedding Anniversary and it was wonderful! It was the first time we had been there and it met our expectations. The service was professional, the food was delicious, and the ambiance and noise level was just perfect! I highly recommend this exceptional restaurant!
This is truly a gem near the park. You'll be treated to wonderful food and service. While you can dress in hiking gear, take a shower and put on the nicest clothes you brought. We had the steak, but there were so many options. The sides were perfect but there mashed potatoes were out of this world.
One of my favorite southern Utah restaurants. The atmosphere is amazing and the food is wonderful. Our waiter was very accommodating. It is one of our regular stops in terms of restaurants in Utah.
A very nice meal, in nice surroundings. A real treat after the long drive from California.
Food was excellent, just too much black pepper on the wedge salad. Really enjoyed the Bison filet and the thick cut bacon appetiser.

This was lovely dining experience -- gracious, casually elegant, and with exquisite menu offerings (and preparation and presentation). The filet was well-aged and properly prepared, and the seasoning was "just enough." The salads and sides were delicious, as well. The martinis were superbly mixed, though I was a bit disappointed with the serving size. While I suspect they were "regulation pours," these days better establishments are pouring more generously. The crystal was a refreshing surprise (in these days of boring stemware), but the portions of the martinis, themselves, were a let-down. For the quality of everything that went into the meal, we agreed that the price was fair, but do be aware that the Switchback Grille is priced like the excellent steakhouse that it is, and, as has become the custom, each item is a la carte. Fair enough, and very fine!
JT was wonderful and made it a great experience. The food was very good, and we all left full.
Staff went above and beyond.
We were received very well and seated immediately.
Apps and drinks came very quickly.
We had almost every app but the crab cakes, scallops, and thick cut bacon really stood out.
For dinner i had the sausage plate with pickled veg and toasted baguette, with a side of potatoes au gratin.
Desserts had many gluten free options, and we enjoyed the creme brulee, assorted sorbet and root beer float.
Definitely one of my favorite spots in Utah.
10/10
A must eat spot in Zion!
Food was outstanding, the views unparalleled and our server, Tyler, was so attentive and gave great recommendations! Great experience!
