I had the herb roasted chicken and it was dry. My wife had the hamburger and was not impressed. The fries were very good. If you want a good burger go to The Pig’s Ear in Hurricane. The service, however, was very good.

Quiet location. Staff appeared inexperienced.

The steak was undercooked for my preference, the server didn't ask or clarified how I wanted it cooked.

They served the food across the tables, brushing and pushing our cups with their sleeves.

Overall not a pleasant experience and the food was not the best.

No food poisoning though, so that was good.

Went here back in the last week of August of 2025 on our trip. Had the lamb and crab cakes. Very good. Would highly recommend it

I am a longtime Zion local. Dined on Christmas afternoon. Ordered the special. The Local filet mignon. It was the BEST & freshest steak I have ever had. From a nearby ranch. The meal & service was impeccable. Thank you for a delightful Christmas meal.

We had a wonderful NYE dinner here. They had a full house but were all smiles with wonderful service. Loved all the food.

Had our Christmas dinner here. Arrived early because I didn’t have reservation but was seated right away. The appetizer and salad were both delicious with good portion. Only one small thing left a sour taste in my mouth is the bill was handed directly to the person assumed would be paying. It’s unnecessary as the bill can be just placed in the middle of the table.

The berger was dry, with no condiments included. Just over cooked burger with an onion slice and a slice of tomato. Zero lettuce.🤢

Overpriced. Not well seasoned at all. Bbq plate was dry and the brisket tough and chewy. Corn bread was a sugar bomb.

We really enjoyed our recent lunch at the Spotted Dog. The burger was solid and the tallow fries were excellent - some of the best fries I've ever had - and the sage purses were a unique twist on ravioli that was fresh and not overfilling. My one critique is that I would have preferred a thicker sage/butter sauce on the pasta, but I realize that comes down to personal preference.

I have thoroughly enjoyed Spotted Dog every time I’ve visited Springdale/Zion National park. The food and wine selection is impressive, and the entire staff is exceptional. James the manager, the bartenders Kiola, Laura and Michael always ensure an enjoyable experience and fantastic food.

Stopped here for drinks and an appetizer. They kindly accommodated our request to let us sit in their drink waiting area so we coule see the view. Their n/a beer was a bit warm and the glass was cold but not freezing. Not a requirement but always a nice touch! Overall good environment.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving feast at the Spotted Dog. They were warm and gracious, and the food was good. Spectacular scenery just outside the restaurant. Highly recommend.
