Very fresh and local sources food. You could taste the quality. A must stop while in Zion. Can’t wait to be back!
Very unassuming from the outside but it is such a cute restaurant!! The food was spectacular! Wild game meatloaf was 10/10. Great wine/alcohol selection. Excellent service. Also amazing desserts
Really great restaurant. Service was good and the food was excellent.
Our server Cole was awesome! The Brie appetizer is a must
While this spot is probably a little more upscale and pricey than most of the other restaurants near the canyon, the food was amazing and easily justified the price considering Springdale is basically a resort town.
I had the red mountain trout to try something different and somewhat locally sourced. It was easily one of the best pieces of fish I've ever had at a restaurant. My wife also loved her purses pasta dish.
Wonderful (quality) food, very comfortable vibe. So glad we stopped here for dinner. I had the wild caught halibut with wild rice and seasonal veggies. A+ choice.
Great atmosphere after a long day at Zion. Food was good! Meatloaf a little dry, but very flavorful!
Great food and service.
I went with a group of six and everyone walked out extremely happy with their meal. A couple were on the fence due to the menu prices but it is with every penny! If you hiked Zion, you deserve a good meal and you'll get it at the Spotted Dog. Enjoy!
Dietary restrictions: We have a lot of preferences and restrictions as a group, including no/low sugar (non-diabetic), gluten free, no soy, vegetarian, and protein-heavy, but everyone found a dish they loved without having to ask for changes. I think our GF+ no soy person got some fixings on the side, and they were great about it. The staff were top notch across the board too. It was all great.

Best food we had in our month long US tour.
A little pricey, but frankly totally worth it.ig they're still doing the pear and ricotta parcels, and the shiitake mushroom risotto cake, you should try them with their local red wine blend - it's worth the drive up from Vegas alone.

The pasta was delicious! And Maureen made two fantastic to-go boxes of our leftovers for the next day’s hike. So kind! We loved her. And the care from the rest of the staff was perfect!

We really had a pleasant experience at Spotted Dog. They have a porch area and we ate their amazing food while watching the canyons change color as the sun set. Caesar salad and their hummus plate were great and the serving were generous. The grilled NY strip and smoked ribs were cooked really well to our liking. More importantly, the staff were friendly and accommodating. Shantay, Ramiro, Derek, and Alex were all pleasant, thoughtful, and very committed to giving us a great dining experience.

Came here on a stay outside of Zion and it’s fantastic! The service was great, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere is just what you want in a unique but cozy dinner. The waiter was very friendly and gave great recommendations. The lamb shank was so tender and yummy. Definitely recommend the Brie appetizer. I would come again and it’s very reasonably priced for a nice dinner in this area. Most of the entrees were $25-35.
Parking: There are several spots to park but if it’s busy season, you’ll probably want to get there early or be within walking distance.
