Expensive. Chips and salsa 12 bucks for the same thing you get free everywhere else. Waiting to be served and getting to small baskets of chips and salsa for the table costs $24.00.

Nice service and atmosphere. Food overpriced and average, $23 for two smallish enchiladas with basic rice and black beans on the side.

Awesome. I was not expecting much and had the best meal of my trip here. Stuffed Anaheim pepper with beef was amazing. Wife love her meal as well!

Food was delicious!! Chile relleno was so good. It’s not spicy as Inwas expecting and O really enjoyed it. The host Fernando was the best and very polite on the time of waiting ( about 10 minutes). The wait was worth it.

I'll start with it being a very beautiful space in this restored gas station, and that service was very nice! But, it just verified for us that most the restaurants in Springdale are overpriced AND touristy 'ok' food. The loaded burrito WAS HUGE but nothing special beyond that. I got a Strawberry tea and it was very much painfully unsweet. The chips don't seem fresh either.

Rice was dry, beans I think somehow had -0% salt.

Queso - VERY GOOD I will say.

Best Mexican food we've had during our Utah road trip: the carne asada especially was really good. The place got a bit busy once people started exiting the park and we had to wait for about 20 minutes before being seated but the meal was definitely worth the wait.

My wife and I were walking back from a long day at Zion and were walking past this restaurant. The food smelled and looked amazing and the atmosphere looked nice as well. They found us a seat off to the back left which seemed like an overflow and storage area but it was fine since we would be out of the way and away from the crowd. We waiting around 15 minutes after we got our waters and a couple of parties of 4 were seating in the same section. We waited for another 5 before two servers came to the parties to ask for their drinks and for any starters. So we decided to leave. I felt they prioritized the larger parties. Horrible customer service. The irony of it all was when the other parties were sat, (note 15 minutes after we were waiting) a gentleman walked up pointed to us and said we were here waiting but they still sent two servers to the parties.

My wife and I shared the fish tacos and got margaritas. Server hardly even greeted us and only asked us what we wanted to order, didn’t care to ask us what we wanted to drink after we sat for 10 mins after sitting down. Food was bland and we hardly were served, we won’t be coming back.

Price performance great!

We got a table straight away at around 5:15 p.m. Burger + fries for $19, it was very tasty and a very large portion.

Typically expectations for a sit down meal are lowered significantly when you've been up hiking since 6 AM. Needless to say, the flavorful food, attentive service, and well crafted menu at Whiptail Grill did more than impress. We ordered the chile relleno, spaghetti squash enchiladas, and a house salad to share. All were excellent. Don't overlook the rice and beans! It was a highlight of my meal. Would absolutely return upon my next trip to Zion
