The food is good, not amazing. I do stop when in town. Make sure to get the fresh rolls.

Outstanding service and staff! The front host are so kind. I picked up an order tonight for takeout and it was overwhelmingly enough food for 4. I got the burger and fries plus the mozzarella chips. They added the table breadsticks too :) I asked for a drink that was not on the take out menu and the sweet gal who packs the take out and brought my bag to me made fresh lemonade and it was on the house.I felt like royalty! Someone, a host, sweet gal grabbed the door for me even. There were so many little touches that were outstanding service! No name tags so I cannot comment on the humans but they made my night. There was a guitar player playing and the ambience was lovely.

Food is always good especially the chocolate cake, the staff is nice though the atmosphere is a bit stuffy and there always seems to be either a Karen or a Tasmanian Devil in the restaurant.

We LOVE Magelby’s! Tonight we came to celebrate our anniversary and it was perfect. Their atmosphere was beautiful, food was delicious, and our waitress, McKenzie was seriously the best waitress ever!! 10/10.

We were able to go on the last Friday of the month. They have a wonderful, yummy seafood buffet. $50 per person. $42.50 for seniors. Comes with the dessert buffet also!

If you're a fan of the Barnum & Bailey Circus, you'll enjoy your time at this restaurant. You're not even going to believe what I write because it was quite the show last night at dinner. We made reservations to celebrate a birthday, a group of 10 of us. It took forever for our food to come, and when our food did come- it came one plate at a time. Myself was served first along with another guest of our party. I was done with my food before anyone else got their food. They tried to bring my same dish to the table 2 more times, but no one else ordered that. The food continued to come out one by one with a good 15-20 minutes between each dish. No one could eat together! And if the did wait (some did) then their food was cold! One guest didn't even get their food until everyone else was finished, had dessert, and leftovers already boxed up! 2 hours into our dinner! What a joke.Another guest of our party was also over-charged. They found this out by checking their bank acct the next morning. One guest at our table said it should be called "Maybe's" instead of Magelby's. Maybe you'll get your food, maybe you won't. Maybe you'll get someone else's food. Maybe you'll get over charged. Maybe we should have just got up and walked out on such terrible service. They tried to make up for it with "free cake". We all paid for entree's and that already comes with cake. They tried to make up for it with giving everyone a discount on their ticket, but yet overcharged us. Also, when they were asking if we wanted the "free cake", I asked them for a slice of carrot cake. The manager in charge, Daryl, said they don't have carrot cake by the slice. Buddy, at this point you go and grab a carrot cake off your shelf and cut it into slices. That maybe (see what I did there?) could have saved me from writing this review.History repeats itself. 12 years ago we went to the Magelby's in Provo as a group and had this same experience. Awful, slow service. We won't be eating here again.

The food and atmosphere are perfect for this unique dining experience. We all had the prime rib and it was divine.Mali, our waitress, was attentive to our needs and gave us great service throughout the time we were there. All of the food was wonderful - and, yes, including dessert.Dietary restrictions: Nothing on the menu has pork in it.

2018: Went there for our 20th anniversary after living out of the area for most of that time. The food was delicious, the staff friendly and the price commensurate with the quality. They even comp'd our dessert knowing how long it had been since our last visit.2024 Update: Not as good as it once was. While our meal was still good, It was not nearly worth the price. Microwaved soup, unseasoned prime rib and overcooked pasta were the lowlights, but the bread sticks, salad, mashed potatoes and desserts were delicious.
