Oh how the mighty Blaze has fallen. This place used to be a unique experience where you yourself can be a pizza chef and customize your pizza, just how you want it. The ability to ask them to adjust toppings made this place special. They unfortunately decided to let corporate greed get in the way and created a new ordering system. You now have to tell them up front what you want on your pizza and they will make it themselves. What's more? Before tax you will pay 11.35 for a pizza about half the total volume of a medium dominoes pizza. I was sad to see once my order was given to me that they reduced the usual amount of toppings. My wife asked for extra mushrooms and her pizza arrived with three, yes three mushrooms on it. I saw another review about this same issue and Blaze copied and pasted their typical "sorry" response and didn't even address why that person was upset. I'm sure I will get the same. There is absolutely ZERO reason now to come here unless you absolutely love the flavor of the dough. This will go down as one of the great tragedies of our time. RIP Blaze Pizza, a legend come and gone.

I freely admit I am a picky eater, I loved that I could...in the past "build my own" after all I can order from the hut and save my gas. Luckily the lady who built my pizza said I could still walk the line, the first time I can't will be the last time I choose The blaze, the wheel is round for a reason! Please don't try to reinvent it !

This was my first time. Monica made my first experience very special. I’m very happy with the food and amazing service. Definitely recommend fun to build your own pizza. Monica is definitely that perfect employee for any business super happy with the experience she provided.

New system of ordering and not being able to add topping as you make your way through the process is ridiculous. Hardly got any toppings, they added so much salt it was inedible. I won’t be back!

Used to be great until corporate decided to utilize serious shrinkflation. You don’t get to walk the line anymore and pick out what you want. They make you tell them at the very beginning like a Dominos or any other pizza place and then they give you the smallest portion of toppings imaginable. Very disappointing based on how we used to be able to do it and based on what we got for the value. I would prefer they just increased prices and let me build the pizza I want. Until Blaze changes this back to the old way, they’ve lost a long time customer because it’s just disappointing now.

Never eaten here before, knew nothing about the pizza. Assumed it was like pizza studio. I was greatly mistaken. The barren pizza arrived and my guest and I immediately regretted trying the place out. Wasatch Pizza is a block away and I wish we had gone there. But, buy cheap, buy twice. Learned my lesson and will not eat Blaze Pizza again.
They somehow forgot the one topping of pepperoni on a pepperoni pizza. This new ordering system is garbage.

Me and my boyfriend used to love this place because it was kinda like “subway for pizza” but with the new ordering process for pizza, where you give them your toppings first, it kinda destroys the point of going here. Our pizza took forever and they were so skimpy with all the toppings. At that point there’s no difference between here or Pizza Hut. We will not be returning unless they go back to the old process.

I have been coming to the Taylorsville Blaze location for a few years now. I really like the pizza and the service has usually been good.Apparently the process for ordering pizza has changed. All pizza topping and info about the order must be given at the register. The girl working treated me like the ‘soup nazi’ from Seinfeld. I told her that this process was not the best way to do things and she pointed to a card with a list of items.To make things worse they burnt my pizza. I did not leave a tip.I will not go to this location anymore.Hire better staff. Your order process sucks.

Blaze pizza is obviously the worst now. Because now you have to pay for your pizza and customize it at the register instead of customizing it first, then paying. It sucks because when you first come in to blaze, you get to order what you want for the pizza and let the employee's know if you want more topping than what they add on it. Now you have to tell them what you want on it, and they'll just add a little bit of cheese and a little bit of the other toppings. Blaze pizza is no longer a good place to come. I used to like it because i could customize it the WAY i liked it since all the other places used to just add light condiments. While this place, i could tell the people to add more cheese, mushrooms, or any other condiments i wanted than I'd pay. THIS PLACE WENT DOWNHILL SO BAD THAT I WILL NOT COME BACK UNTILL THEY CHANGE IT BACK.
