It's a great place for a lunch or dinner, especially if you like lots of lettuce, rice and beans. Some of the meatier dishes are pretty good if you can handle it.
They are constantly preparing bulk food that is assembled to order in front of you as the line moves along. So it is all ordered in line, not from your table.

I've been coming here for years and the quality has really gone downhill. They are extra skimpy on the portions of meat. I ordered sweet pork nachos, and maybe had enough meat to enjoy 5 chips. Ridiculous portions for the price.

I ordered a grilled chicken salad and a worker whose name I don’t know put some broken up flakes of chicken on my salad. I asked for more and then she rolled her eyes and said it’s gonna cost extra. I said no it’s not then she put like 2 pieces on there. She then tried to tell me that even though the pieces are all flakes that it’s all the same even though there was barely any on there. Then she messed up my wife’s tacos and didn’t give her pico. When I made it to the stand Cameron and Israel asked me if everything was alright with my salad. I said no and they very kindly gave me more chicken. I’m not very pleased with the attitude I received from the female worker.

I think it is a shame that the Sweet Pork is so spicy that it actually burns my mouth. Café Rio was my weekly pleasure now I'm thinking I'll find something else. Sweet Pork should at least be made with the sweetness it's name suggests and not just fire hot.

Just ordered through door dash and the order wasn’t even close to what was delivered, I ordered a smothered sweet pork burrito and a non-smothered steak burrito is what showed up to me door. (UPDATE) I had to bring the order back to the store but they made it right for free.

This location is always fire. The staff is always great.

Cafe Rio in Salt Lake City absolutely nailed it! The food was done really well—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was awesome, upbeat, and welcoming. Everyone in our group was completely satisfied with their meals. The horchata was spot-on, creamy and perfectly spiced, and the tres leches cake was out of this world—moist, sweet, and the perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommend stopping by!

For the last 6 times in a row, my order has been inaccurate and I haven't been responded to by management. This is being maliciously done, do not go here and I will not return.

I made a simple online order for lunch and went to pick it up. Got there and had to stand by the registers for a bit before anyone would come help me, even though multiple employees were just standing around in the back. Got my order and checked the slip which was right then grabbed some utensils, since they didn’t put any in, noticed all the dirty table tops and left to go back to work. When I cut into my burrito the only thing that was right was that it was a burrito with rice! Wrong meat, wrong beans, and wrong sauce! Thank god I didn’t have any allergies! Incompetence like that could get people killed!!!

Ordered takeout, found beetle in salad. Reached out to their customer support and they said they would replace my meal through the app. Now im not getting any reply back from customer service. It's been about 2 months.

I ordered a shredded chicken salad and got horrible food poisoning from here! I’ve been sick for two days straight!! I had diarrhea, nausea, hot flashes, cold flashes and horrendous stomach cramps!!!! I don’t recommend eating here. I contacted the Health Department.
