We came here for a post-concert celebration with my niece and showed up close to last seating — the kind of moment where some restaurants make you feel like an inconvenience. Not here. The staff welcomed us enthusiastically and gave us the full experience without a hint of rushing.
We opted for both hot pot and Korean BBQ, and while it’s on the pricier side, you’re paying for an experience as much as a meal — and it delivers. Having lived in China, Taiwan, and Korea, I was impressed by how authentic it felt. The variety of meats, seafood, tofu, mushrooms, and unique vegetables was outstanding, and the sauce bar is the true win. Get creative, mix and match — that’s where the real flavor adventure begins.
The ordering system is tech-forward and seamless. You choose everything from a tablet, and food arrives quickly to the table. Our server was fantastic — attentive without hovering, kept drinks topped off, and even swapped out our grill plate the moment it started to char. I wish I caught his name because he deserves a shout-out.
Miso soup with their range of tofu options was a highlight for me — the kind of ingredients I loved living overseas but rarely find here. Meats were sliced well, fresh, and cooked beautifully at the table. It felt like a little slice of Seoul tucked away in Taylorsville.
The neon-lit, K-pop-infused atmosphere adds a fun energy without being overwhelming. It’s modern, a bit playful, and feels like it knows exactly what it is: a place to gather, experiment, and enjoy food together.
It’s not cheap, but for a night out that’s interactive, flavorful, and surprisingly authentic, it’s worth it. I left impressed — enough to say I’ve probably found a new favorite spot when I’m craving a real Asian hot pot & BBQ experience.

Pricy but worth it. Absolutely a must here. Great date spot and also great with a big group. And insane amount of variety in both the hotpot and BBQ. I'd give it a 6/5☆

I love coming here with friends and family for different occasions. Its a great place to sit and talk to friends while enjoying good hot pot. I feel like the service is okay, we dont really get checked back on once we get our broth or to pay the bill. One of my favorite places to go for hot pot.

The service was okay but what really got me is when me and my significant other were done eating the girl who cleans the table. When we’re done eating she laughs and points at us while whispering to the guy helping her and stares us down until we walk out the door while giving us a dirty look, I’ve had this happen with the same girl on 2 separate occasions, I really don’t believe I’ll be back because can I not eat the food that I’m paying for? Please remind your cleaning staff they’re working the job that they applied for! Note: this happened a little under 2 weeks ago, just wanted to say something before it became irrelevant.

This was our first time here and is was such a great experience. It can be overwhelming with what to do and what to order as you are cooking your own food. But the server was patient and very helpful. He made suggestions and made sure we were happy throughout our meal. We will be back the next time we are in town.

Ive always loved it here before but the service has gone down hill. Our server forgot everything, only came to our table 3 times, never refilled water, and when asked to bring the check, never did. I flagged down another server to take care of us after waiting 15 minutes and still no check. On top of that, they defaulted to a 25% tip on a $184 bill, which I changed to 15% and my group put another 10% on the table. However, checking my bank accounts today, my total charge came to $259.89, so apparently they take whatever they want anyway. Either way, as much fun as I've had here in the past, we won't be returning anytime soon.

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot in Taylorville is hands down one of my favorite spots! The service is always fast, and they do a great job explaining how to order in a way that’s super easy to follow. Our server Gabriel was outstanding—he went above and beyond to help with our specific requests. He never seemed bothered, only enthusiastic and eager to make sure we had the best experience possible.
This location is saved as a favorite on my Google Maps (and it should be on yours too!). Every time I’m in town, we make it a point to stop in, enjoy an incredible meal, and then leave stuffed because let’s be real—there’s always too much good food to resist. Highly recommend!

Horrible drink options. No Diet options at all. Won't be back just because of that. Left very unsatisfied.

One of our family’s favorite!!! We’re looking forward to the Layton location to open. Love that there is something for everyone! The broths for the hotpot is by far the best I have had and they are super accommodating!

I’m sorry, but this was horrible. A lot of it may have seen in the delivery. It was supposed to be in person, hand to hand, and with text notification of arrival. The food arrived cold, missing soup, soy sauce; one of the drinks ordered spilled when the bag apparently was dumped at our door, soaking the sack.. all this for more than $60 bucks AND a tip for deliver on top of a delivery charge? Never again.

My family comes here a lot for dinner, and the service is always good. Our server Kevin is always amazing to us. However, I will no longer eat BBQ here. We noticed they use teflon pans, and all the pans have the coating scratched off. The scratched teflon coating is unhealthy and toxic, and until they replace the old one with new pans, I will only have hot pot from here.
I loved it
The serve-yourself area was always stocked up, and the ordered food came out pretty quick!
Shout-out to our waiter Thomas! He made our stay very enjoyable!
